Introducing Puppies To Grooming
Whether your getting a cocker spaniel or a Yorkshire terrier every dog needs to be groomed regularly some need to be done every other day or just simply once a week.
Puppies can start to be introduced into the grooming environment as soon as they have had their second vaccinations!
Many puppy owners make the mistake of waiting until their puppies are six months of age or older before taking them for grooming. As a general rule, puppies should be no more than 16 weeks old, as younger puppies are easier to train.
Just by simply bathing your puppy once a week can make it so much easier to keep their coat maintained!
Depending on their breed will determine how often they need to be brushed a week!
As a groomer I always recommend that owners should touch their puppies ears and paws it gets them used to having their nails cut.
