Dog owners, do you want your dog to have healthy, strong hips? If so, I’ve got fantastic news for you.
The protocols developed to maintain the hip health of the original Doggytread dogs, St. Chico and Gidget, have been replicated with other families and their dogs.
Healthy hips means a better chance of your dog living to a ripe old age.
The first iterations of Doggytread started in 2014 with a legally-grown medical marijuana plant called ACDC, and a beefcake Rottweiler named St. Chico.
Back then, nobody quite knew what to do with it (CBD). We knew it was good for epilepsy, based on the Charlotte’s Web strain. CBD rich varieties of cannabis were hoarded, difficult to find, and often produced scruffy, low-yielding buds.
In the fall of 2014, I harvested two pounds of ACDC, which was then processed into CBD oil. Also that fall, St. Chico began showing signs of arthritic hips at the age of 5.5 years.
Doggytread derives its name from the use of treadmill therapy to stabilize the hips of St. Chico. That first treadmill was purchased for $5 on Craigslist and was an integral part of keeping his hips healthy until his death at 10.5 years old.
Doggytread gave me five additional years with my dogs without significant veterinary intervention.
Truth told, Doggytread was the answer to my prayers and I am forever grateful for those additional five years. I humbly offer these modalities to other dogs owners.
The protocol is based on everyday items, like a treadmill, as well as the run-of-the-mill grocery store.
This offers dog owners accessible, natural solutions at the places you already go shopping. You can pick and choose based on your preferences, spending habits and individual health goals. Take what you need and leave the rest. Or take it all!
Part of this, of course, includes the Doggytread CBD tincture. Oregon grown, lab tested, tried-and-true.

Thank you, everyone, for the "Likes" on the page! It honestly means a lot to me.
Here is footage of my 9 year old foster dog Goliath on the treadmill; he landed with me on December 23rd, so this is just over a month of spending time with him.
He was in a San Francisco shelter, which then contacted The Heart Of Rescue (THOR). THOR is a foster based rescue in Portland, Oregon, that specializes in Rottweilers.
He was in a kennel since before July of 2019, so the first ten days or so I did little other than give him walks around the block and allow him to decompress.
He's pretty easy on a leash and has clearly been taken on many walks; he likes pickup trucks and wants to go for rides.
He's also fairly non-reactive to people and seems to enjoy the company of other dogs. He's very interested in kitties and might make a snack out of a kitty.
Goliath is in great shape for nine years old and is taking to the treadmill very easily. And it has had the added bonus of draining his energy, so he is extra mellow.
He's been eating turmeric golden paste, CBD tincture, glucosamine and fish oil right off the plate for me. I set it down and encourage him to eat it, and that's exactly what he does. Yeah!
If you are interested in meeting Goliath, you can find more information about him at www.theheartofrescue.org
Many thanks to my amazing camera person Austin Barber!
