As a heads up to my clients:

My car is currently broken down and I am sharing a car with my boyfriend to get to work and back and relying on others.

When scheduling a nail trim with me please be patient with the times I can provide as my time is limited with being down to one car to share.

I'm hoping to have it fixed soon!

I know that I only offer nail trims, and I sometimes get messages about needing a pet sitter. I have a friend that is looking for more clients that need someone to watch their pets while on vacation! I'm getting some new clients from the Schoharie County area and just wanted to remind everyone that I live in Schenectady now and only come out once a month to trim nails. Everyone has been so kind and patient with me when I moved! But I wanted everyone new looking at my page to know that I may not get out to you right away but I'm still willing to help! ❤️

I just want to make a post to clear up some things with my business.
I only do Nail Trims and dremeling on friendly pets that can tolerate it without getting too stressed.
I drive to your home and can do the nails either inside your home or outside, it's totally up to you and the comfort of your pet, I'm pretty lenient.
I do need at least one person holding their pet or distracting with treats because I can't hold and trim at the same time unfortunately.

I do NOT clip hair/bathe/groom.
I can clean ears, I can not give injections.

There has been some confusion so I wanted to be more clear for everyone looking for something in particular for their pets care.

If all you are looking for are nail trims and don't want to bring your pet to pet smart/vet/groomer then I'm your girl 😊

These little cuties are my pet guinea pigs, Shaggy and Scooby!
As I don't have a lot of experience with this species where I work (at a vets office)
I do have experience with my little guys at home.
I trim their nails whenever they get too long (the amount of times varies, their nails seem to grow slower than cats and dog nails, and their back nails seem to need trimming more than their fronts)
I can also do bunnies because they are very similar to a guinea pigs nail!

Here are my little guys thinking about trying watermelon for the first time.

The quick stop is only to be cautious, I don't normally quick an animal but I'm superstitious and would rather have it on hand! You never know what could happen, and it's always good to be prepared! :)

Good morning everyone!
Malla is my fussy one that likes to growl the whole time I trim her nails.
I'm still able to trim them by myself by sitting her on my lap though! If I didn't do it all the time she'd probably be a biter.
I recommend playing with your pets feet a lot, especially if you have them from a young age, getting them used to having their feet touched makes it much easier for me and goes quicker for your pet!
Treats work great too as positive reinforcement ❤

Hey everyone
I recently am In need of a second job, and I thought what better way than to offer trimming nails in your home!
I do have a full time job at howes cave cavel hospital (going on 7 years of experience ) , so hours will vary of course.
But I'm hoping to find some clients around the Schoharie County area that hate traveling with their pet because car rides suck and they get nauseous, or its too much stress for them to go.
I'm hoping to trim nails in the comfort of your home as long as you are able to help hold and distract! If they are fearful/ aggressive, I will try but I might decline because I am not covered by insurance outside of work if I get hurt.
