We have big news today!
We will be pairing with the connersville animal shelter and will be sponsoring a dog once a month!What this means is we will be selecting a special pup and giving the spa treatment! Well have photos and story to share with each pup. Along with that that special pup will go home with a goodie bag full of toys/treats/and a bag off food to go home with the owner. Well also be offering a discount with the return groom for whatever need that particular pet will have. Each month will have its own special theme and we would like to eventually expand and do more for the animal in the future. If anyone would like to donate to sponsor the pup just let us know☺️ we are very excited to help the community and pets out!

Just a heads up we are 4 weeks out on scheduling. This may seem like a long time but our groomers are balancing 2 jobs and are doing their best to attend to everyone. If you feel like your pet needs squeezed in and seen early please bear with us as we look at our schedule and see where we can fit you. We look forward to seeing everyone and there fluffy babies ❤️

Fun fact of the day Nails:

All animals have nails/claws. But did you know that all animals have different growth rates and how they were them down? Nails have a blood supply called the quick. As the nails grow do does the quick and when the nails are trimmed the quick can recede . Some dogs will actually wear their nails down on their own if they are walked a lot on pavement/hard surfaces or if they dig a lot. Some pups need help with keeping them trimmed as they don’t wear them down properly. If nails are left to grow on their own they can actually get so long that they will start to curl and can even eventually gown into the pad causing pain and even infection. Sometimes overgrown nails can cause an alter in walking. Nails can be trimmed every 4-6 weeks to help keep them maintained and can be trimmed more frequently if we are trying to recede the quick. We alway trim nails with every groom to keep them looking neat and maintained☺️ we do offer just nail trims without grooms if that is what you would like. Good morning! Just a friendly PSA that rude/nasty messages will not be tolerated. We understand that mobile grooming may not be for every one and/or pricing may not be suitable for everyone and that is fine. But being rude and hateful to our groomer is something that we will not stand for. We pride ourselves with being kind and caring and would love to help all pets. So if you feel we are not a fit for you than please have some courtesy to be respectful as we show you the same.

Topic of the day A**l glands:

Did you know every dog and cat have a**l glands? These are 2 glands located in the re**um and actually serve as a scent purpose and help animals mark their territory. When dogs and cats use the bathroom these glands will generally express themselves. Sometimes these glands can also express under stressful situations. Sometimes depending on the dog, and/or breed (each case is individual), or if stool is looser, and if the consistency of the secretion changes from a liquid to a thick pasty look these glands can’t express properly and need assistance. With every groom we check and will express a**l glands! We do this doing the bathing process because there are stinky little glands. If an a**l gland happens to get impacted it will cause painful discomfort and can actually rupture needing vet care. Our goal is to help minimize this as much as possible! We do offer expressions on their own without a full groom do to the importance of keeping them in check. Signs of full a**l glands can be scooting a lot on the floors outside etc, and licking excessively at the back end. Did you know short coat dogs need groomed too? They shed just as much as other shedding dogs but it's just shorter fur! Giving them a bath once in awhile will help with shedding and also just keeping them clean! Their nails also need trimmed and it helps to do both at the same time! If not, nail trims are recommended to be done ever 4 weeks. As far as brushing goes they don't need brushed unless you're wanting to remove their shedding fur. We recommend using a rubber curry brush to do so!

Topic of the day is fine/silky hair type!
These breeds would be Yorkers, Maltese, Shih Tzu, Schnauzers, etc.

Fine silky hair breeds should be brushed roughly 2-3 times a week between grooms. Especially under the arm pit areas, behind ears, and groin area. Slicker brushes or pin brushes work wonderfully on these type of hair coats. Just be careful and make sure not to brush too hard scratching the skin. The reason being is that this type of hair tends to get tangled pretty easily and can result in tiny hair knots that pull on the skin and can be discomforting especially in sensitive areas. When brushing these kiddos you can use a detangle spray made for dogs. We recommend having this pups groomed every 4-6 weeks for owners who like keep the hair long and around every 8 weeks if owners like them kept short. If you have any questions on detangling spray or brushes just ask and we can point you in the right direction!

Fun Fact of the day: double coated dogs! Examples Huskies/Bernese Mountain Dog/Collies etc

What we mean by double coat is that there are two layers to the fur. The top coat is usually finer and longer and the under coat is shorter and soft. This helps certain breeds with insulation to keep warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Usually we don’t like to shave down double coated pups because it could alter the hair grown and temp regulation, but did you know they still need groomed and maintained? The top coat usually grows faster than the bottom coat and will shed out twice a year on its own. We highly recommend bathing and blowing the coat out. This helps blow all the dead fur out from underneath and keep the coat nice and healthy. Sometimes when shedding out they can have a hard time getting rid of the extra hair resulting into the undercoat being trapped. This causes some dogs to become over heated and matted. A good bath and blow out helps to prevent these issues and can actually help decrease the amount of shedding! If you have any extra questions please feel free to message us and/or schedule a groom!

Breed of the day Doodles:

Doodles are on the rise of popularity. They are super cute and come in a variety of colors and different breeds. The biggest thing with doodles is all that cuteness and pretty coats comes great responsibility. Doodles are one of the highest maintenance of dog breeds. The reason why is their hair is prone to matting. With out proper grooming the hair can actually turn into a pelt mat which results into having to shave to the skin. Matting can be a serious issue as it pulls on the skin becoming difficult to cut out resulting in discomfort. Matting can also lead to skin infections and other issues. We highly recommend every 6-8 weeks (sometimes every 4 depending on the pup and owner) grooms with doodles to keep their hair looking soft and maintained.At home we highly recommend brushing between grooms as this helps keep the fur looking healthy and reduces the chances of having super short hair cut. Plus it helps us too as well because your pup will be use to being handled and brushed. We can start grooming doodles at an early age as puppies! This helps them get use to the maintenance they’ll require and reduce stress with the groomer later in life. If you have any questions on grooming schedules or brushes to use at home just ask and we’ll assist you! We want to make you and your pup happy!

We have a whole collection of bee bandanas! Each one is handmade and have snaps on the back for easy removal (we do offer ones that the collar pulls through). These bandanas are included with grooms or can easily be purchased by themselves.

You may have noticed that currently we do not have hours set on our page. As of right now we have not planned out specific days or hours. We will be doing our best to work around a schedule. Please feel free to message us if you are wanting to book and we will find a day and time! As of right now we can service the following areas

If you live outside of these areas just let us know, so we can accommodate to your location! We do eventually plan on expanding to even more area coverage eventually.

Good morning! Today we wanted to show case some of the shampoos we use. Not every fur baby’s coat is the same. Each one/breed have different needs as far as texture, hair quality, if they have an undercoat etc. For example a Poodle coat is much different than a Yorkie’s coat. Each shampoo works a little differently. We do plan on expanding and adding more as we go and I have included a couple that are coming soon!
