🧡Totoka has a new family member🧡
Photo 1-3 is our new ‘therapy’ puppy that will join ‘Latte’ on all things farm but a little extra special and will assist Adrianne with the NDIS side of her business.
Photo 4 is our beloved ‘Piccolo’ whom we sadly bid farewell to last year after 13yrs, leaving a MASSIVE void that although will never be filled, is somehow eased with our new addition so very much like him!

My intention for 2024 was ‘HOMESTEADING’ and gee whiz I have kicked the year off with a bang and already cleaned out wardrobes for charity, sold previous house flip/styling gear, organised my garden shed ready for autumn seedlings AND today reorganised my pantry - think farmhouse butlers pantry of approx 40m of shelving floor to ceiling in a 10sqm room!
LOVING my upcycled glass jars my adorable folks have been collecting for us…yes yes yes they have to match 🥴
Who else loves only glass to store organic pantry goodies!
Note: I don’t write ORGANIC on the label as it’s a given when you visit or eat here it’s 99% organic!

When we plant, we aim for a purpose aka food source.
Since we find it incredibly hard to source bulk amounts of amazing organic passionfruit so that our beautiful friend Liv at gelato can make our Phoenix’s favourite vegan, dairy free and gluten-free gelato, we decided to plant our own!
We now have 7 garden ‘walls’ in passionfruit and excited to have some flowers this year…let’s see how the season pans out for us 👌🏻
Who else loves passionfruit like this crazy family!

Our orchard is chockers this year with the last of the flowers on our apples…nothing like grown using organic practices and picked-eaten in the same 5minutes! 👌🏻
We have over 60 fruit and nut trees jammed in 300sqm metre mesh enclosure we made to keep our chickens safe from foxes (they live in each to keep bugs off trees/weeds down) and mesh protects our fruit from kangas, possums, birds and small natives (eg hopping spinifex mice) who all LOVE fresh fruit too!

New resident Brushtail Possums ‘Domino’ & ‘Richo’ released Sunday night at Totoka by their beautiful wildlife carer Debbie and us. Safe to now roam free on our acreage all wild and free!

Springtime in ‘Toa Cici’ our chicken run/orchard is a place to truly be grateful. From our amazing ‘TUF’ bees pollinating our delectable fruit and nut trees to the array of produce that we have created; over 60 trees we planted 4hrs ago, some 30 varieties from quince (photo) to almonds to apricots to cherries to pears to grapes to passionfruit❣️

Just walked past lounge window and the MOON SHINE is crazy awesome tonight.
Although the camera wouldn’t take photo showing moon on its back I was impressed how it lit up the ocean and we could see the lights on other side of Yorke Peninsula.
Gee whiz I love Adelaide and for a moment I forgot how darn cold it was 🤣
