Join us for our updated lineup of dog training sessions at Plum Lake Event & Equestrian Center, located at 8177 Plum Lake Station Road, Sayner, WI. These classes are offered once each month and new students are always welcome! Classes are indoors and will convene no matter the weather. IYKYK Rally is fun!

Rally Dog Obedience is like a playful walk in the park combined with the excitement of a scavenger hunt—it’s a surprise at every turn! As you and your dog navigate the course, you’ll encounter signs directing you to perform fun skills like sitting, turning, weaving, or even walking around your dog. It’s teamwork and quick thinking rolled into one. If you know, you know—Rally is pure fun for dogs and their humans!

The result? Your dog listens to you! You dog follows your commands! You and your dog have fun together!

The Next Rally Dog Obedience - Advanced Level will begin next week!

Unlock your dog's hidden potential with our engaging and stimulating Nosework class through the Rhinelander Community Education program!

Designed to harness your dog's natural scenting abilities, this class offers a fun and rewarding way for dogs of all ages and breeds to enhance their mental and physical well-being. Through structured scent detection exercises, your dog will learn to identify and locate specific scents, building confidence and providing a productive outlet for their energy.

Carol Lofquist of TLC Dog Training teaches Nosework for Dogs through the Community Education Program in Rhinelander. This class is taught on Monday nights at the Pelican Elementary School.

Session 1 begins Monday, January 27

Are You looking for dog training?

Carol Lofquist, owner of TLC Dog Training, has taught in the Northwoods for over 25 years! She has worked with every breed and helped families with every canine problem. Carol is known to her big heart for the rescue dog and how to solve difficult training (or retraining) problems.

How to connect with Carol? Take a class through the Rhinelander Community Education Program! Carol teaches her core classes: Puppy Manners and K9 Manners on Wednesday nights. In these classes you will learn (and practice) the basics to "positive" dog training. A dog owner never stops "practicing" what you learn in these two classes.

There are two sessions of Puppy Manners and K9 Manners:

Session 1 begins Wednesday, January 29.
Session 2 begins Wednesday, April 2.

Classes are held in the evening at the Pelican Elementary School in Rhinelander.

We’re excited to announce a full lineup of indoor classes this January that you may want to join! Whether you’re looking to introduce your dog to agility or refine advanced skills, we’ve got something for you and your dog.

Join Us on Saturday, January 18th at Plum Lake Event & Equestrian Center in Sayner:

9:00 AM: Agility I - Perfect for newcomers to agility.
