Because Ham was being, well, a Ham 😂
Update on Cinder: her incision is healing beautifully! She has been back to her normal personality, actually a bit more exuberant than usual, the past couple of days. She’s trying to convince me she can be free, but we still have to take it easy no matter what she says.
Update on Olaf: poor guy has to be in his cone most of the time which absolutely breaks my heart. I think it affects me more than it does him. But we can take no chances with his incision. He still has 10 days before he’s healed. He takes his medicine like the great Dood he is! He is happy and perky, and thinks he should still run around. He likes to lift his leg and look at me like “do you see this, mom, my 🥜 are gone!” Which I keep telling him “yes, I see that, I promise this is a good thing, buddy.” I don’t think he believes me. But when Ham can no longer grab on and pull, he’ll be thankful 😂 his very large incision is looking great, no smell and no heat, and the swelling is starting to go down as of this evening, which I’m thankful to see.
I had to go to work today, which made me sick to my stomach, but I monitored them both constantly via my cameras that I set up directly in front of their beds. Thank God for modern technology that allows me to not only watch them, but hear them and speak to them if I need to (which I didn’t).
