Cat friends, did you read the Hawaii Humane Society's 2019 annual report? Some of us are concerned by the numbers we've seen:

During 2019, HHS took in 12,627 cats. Of that, 2,885 cats were adopted. What happened to the remaining 9,742 cats? Of those 9,742 only 1,292 went into foster care. That still leaves a sadly large number of cats whose fate is unreported.

Where is the HHS 2020 report and when will we see it? Will the fates of cats in the care of HHS improve? The people want honesty and transparency. We know HHS receives the lion's share of private donations and government funding. Please let us know what happens to all those cats 😿
