I am so sorry for taking so long to update all of you. We lost Mom on Sunday, and she is so loved and missed. I read all of the things you all shared with her, and I can't tell you how much it meant to her! And I can't even express in words how grateful we are for all of you! I'll share more about Mom in the upcoming days and weeks.

Today is her birthday. She would have been 81. I'm not sure how much you all knew about the woman behind Lucie the Senior cat gal and Lucie and Friends. While I think many of us are "vanilla", she was full of color! Vibrant, quirky, sometimes inappropriate, but always kind, fun, full of character, and always herself. She was super smart and super savvy and super funny! I am missing her so much! She was my best friend....sometimes my biggest frustration....but always my Mom...and the person who knows me better than I know myself. I love you Mom!

Something Maddie woulds read

Ozzie and Cheddar wents two Sunday Skool dis morning. As dids Fluff who hads a new outfit on. She got it from her grandma yesterday. Her grandma always goode like dat!

Today it was top and matching pants with bows and in green. She dids look prettie. Cheddar of course agreed as he always does.

Dis afternoon da boys went two da Hobby Shop two get a couple space ships two put together, This shoulds be a blast fur out guys and keep dem super busy thru da bed time.. Fur mi and Maddie and Freddie and Tommie wi will have some quiet as well. See wi have a motive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL.............................!

Da guys are always goode though, but a little less questions and an afternoon nap mite also bee goode!

It's fun having da Ozzie cat here with us again. Dey both mades us lunch today.. Gerbil sandwich and a pickle, and potato chips. Dey gave us oranges fur dessert and a piece of da chocolate. Cheddar and Ozzie work well together and wi never have two scold dem!
