Dog of the Day: Meet Butch

Meet Butch, he is about 9 months old and a terrier mix. Butch is a gentle and timid dog, has a heart full of quiet affection waiting to be discovered by those who approach him with kindness. His soft, expressive eyes reveal a tenderness that resonates with sensitive, soft-spoken owners who understand his need for gentle care and patience.

Butch finds solace in gentle voices and slow, deliberate movements, responding with subtle, yet significant, gestures of trust—like a slight wag of his tail or a small, cautious nuzzle. Though his journey from timid foster dog to loving companion may be gradual, the bond formed with a compassionate owner becomes a beautiful testament to the healing power of empathy and understanding.
No kids due to past trauma.

Cute Puppy Alert 🚨 These sweet mixed breed puppies were dumped on one our vet’s doorstep right around the Fourth of July. We aren’t sure why people are so cruel, but at least they landed in the right hands. While we don’t know too much about these babies or what breed they are, we do know they are around 12 weeks old, healthy, and as sweet as can be. There is a mix of males and females, and they are fully vetted and ready to go to their forever homes! They are large breed so a home with a yard will be required.

Foster needed for Izzy, a 12 year old female Brussels mix. She was adopted from us years ago but is being returned due to the owner being overwhelmed and having medical issues. She is shy and timid but seems very sweet. Spayed and chipped and gets along with other dogs.

Flynn is an adorable 7 month old poodle mix who weighs 9 pounds. He is the sweetest, most gentle boy you will ever meet. This little guy was abandoned after his humans moved away and left him behind in the yard. We don’t understand why somebody would’ve abandoned this little guy, he truly is the best boy.

He is doing pretty well with potting training, but will need a patient family who can guide him. He sleeps well in a crate and doesn’t make a sound all night, but he would also love to sleep in the same room with you if you let him. He gets along with both cats and dogs and would do well in almost any setting.

Mr. Arlo is looking for his forever home. He has stolen our hearts with his quirky personality and boundless energy. He is a 2-4 year old Jack Russell Terrier who needs an active home with daily walks. He will be your new best friend and give you endless laughs and cuddles! He is deaf however, we often forget as he listens as well as most dogs 😂 He is potty trained and well behaved in the home. He has had some run-ins with other dogs in the trauma of this past year and will need to be re-socialized. At this time it would be best for him to be in a home with no other dogs or small animals. FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED:

Marmalade is looking for the perfect friend to enjoy some adventures with! This energetic girl loves quick or leisurely walk and hopes it ends with a picnic or treat. She pulls a bit on the leash but doesn’t react to other dogs on walks unless they react to her or get in her space. In the car, she sniffs the A/C and looks out the window or falls asleep on your lap. Unfortunately, she wasn’t socialized well, so she really prefers her humans all to herself. She is very prey driven and dominant. But not to worry, because miss Marmie is all the love you need packed into an adorable puglet body! She is an A+ cuddler and snuggler. She is housetrained and great with all humans big and small. She doesn’t dig or tear up furniture, but she absolutely will play with toys! Marmalade needs a foster or foster to adopt to give her all the attention she craves! Anyone who adopts this nugget will always come home to a smile and a ton of love!
