Due to scheduling conflicts, and a new love of playing basketball (go Sacred Heart!), Blake won’t be appearing at craft shows this year.

He is still accepting requests and will fill orders for the upcoming holidays!

Blake was asked by Albany Med Children’s Hospital to help with their annual fundraising golf tournament. He helped raise $700 manning the lemonade stand!

Two of our Tamarac Elementary students, Blake and Brynn Werger, organized a backpack and supply drive over the summer to support fellow Tamarac Elementary students. We have a number of backpacks filled with supplies curated for each grade level. Blake and Brynn exemplify what it means to be a part of the Tamarac family, and we are so grateful to them and their family for this thoughtful act!

In 2021, when Blake Werger, now 8 years old, wanted to combine his love of crafting and bird watching, Blake’s Bird Bakery was born. Each bird seed suet cake is hand made by Blake himself in his Mom and Dad’s kitchen. He’s recently expanded his product line to include other products, such as bird houses and feeders. Blake can typically be found at local craft fairs and often donates proceeds to charities near and dear to him.
Blake’s birdhouse make wonderful Mother’s Day gifts! They come with paint and a paintbrush- add a suet cake and you’re ready to feed the birds!

For those who are new to the page. Or just visiting us again.

Welcome to Blake's Bird Bakery!

This business venture was started by 8 year old, Blake. After placing a bird feeder outside, he realized quickly that bird watching helps relax his body. You could find him looking to see what kinds of birds he has in our backyard. And now owns an assortment of bird watching books.

After looking for recipes online, he came up with his handmade bird suet ornaments and suet cakes recipes.

Then came his first craft fair. Blake was hooked. He now sells an assortment of handmade bird suet ornaments and suet cakes.

He is an avid crafter and decided that paint your own and color your own birdhouse houses and feeders would be fun! He also sells assorted sizes of these items.
