A Happy Tails Update from Bentley's new pawrents:

We love Bentley.
We never thought seriously about getting a dog, but blessed was that moment when Jessica (Bentley's foster mom) reached out to us and sent us a picture of Bentley.
From the minute Bentley walk in the door, he made himself at home and part of the family.
He is very calm, and he makes my days so happy just by being there (he is always in the same room as us).
We are enjoying learning about him. He is a 13 years old dog, and his background is a bit of a mystery but he is teaching us day by day his language, signs and love.❤️
We are really grateful for the Bichon Frise Club of America's Rescue. It has changed our lives 🙏🏻

UPDATE: Marty has been adopted to a wonderful lady in Maryland, where he is enjoying playing with his new poodle sister. Happy life little man!

COURTESY POST: We are helping to find a paw-fect home for a young boy picked up as a stray by a shelter in Virginia.

Meet Marty. Marty is energetic, happy and curious, estimated to be between 3-4 years old and weighing in at 13 pounds. He is potty-trained, neutered, responds to commands, loves walks and car rides, and enjoys playing with his foster sister. When we met him he was a walking ball of long matted fur. After a day at the spa he has turned into a beautiful boy, with a quizzical look and a engaging prance. We don't know exactly what breed or mix he is (maybe Havanese, Shih Tzu, Terrier), but he sure is adorable.

Marty is being fostered in Arlington, Virginia and would do best in a home with another small dog and older children. If you are interested in adopting this little munchkin, please complete an application to adopt at bichonrescue.org/adoption-form.
