Lynsey learning about diagonals with King!
Donna showing us how it’s done! Donna has an English background, and recently started riding again after a 4 year break. She has such a wonderful and sweet personality! It is such a pleasure to have you out for lessons, Donna! 🐴

Eve and I did a little brideless cool-down after our ride today. Just a rein around her neck. First time we have tried it and she was great! 🤩
Yall look out, Dawsyn is gonna be the next NFR qualifier 😤🤠
Kasen and his horse Raven 😎
Eve and I doing a little “no reins” practice the other day 🤠
My hand is out to keep myself in position but it is not on the reins 😜
How cool is this little filly?! 😎🖤
Slow work makes the dream work!
Amanda wants to get into speed events, so during this lesson we worked on moving laterally between the cones to weave properly and learn correct positioning. They struggled to keep Eve’s shoulders from getting ahead, so this was progress! Technique and understanding “why” is so important to GREAT horsemanship.
Once Amanda is comfortable with this series of cues and gets the horses moving off her leg more efficiently, she will move into practicing this at a jog and then a lope. Then, she will apply it to the actual pattern! Setting up for success 🤠
It’s a beautiful day to ride! Kaydintz and Eve practiced the poles today in preparation for the Suwannee River Fair 🤠
Today was one of Sadie’s first times riding Pretty Boy! Today, she learned how to maintain control during the jog, keep the jog slow, and she worked on something she’s scared of—letting go of the saddle horn! Once a rider learns how to pick up a slow (collected) jog, they can learn how to keep the slow jog 🐴
(Top video taken at the beginning of her lesson and bottom video taken near the end of her lesson)
After many long, excruciating months of trying to get a stubborn, doesn’t-do-well-under-pressure potbelly to load in a horse trailer, I finally found a bribe bribe-y enough to get Oreo to get on the trailer by himself
Donuts, French fries, raspberries, apples—you failed me something horrible 😫
Senior horse feed, though? See for yourself 🔥
Now it’s probably time for a diet 🤣🤣🤣
Raven 🐴
Cruised through the pattern today. I could tell he definitely knows the pattern, pretty much all I had to do was hold him off the barrels.
He’s already loping smoother and stopping MUCH better. Not to mention, he catches his leads EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! Loving this horse
The new recruit 🐴
Raven is an 18 year old quarter horse. Roping, sorting, and trail/obstacle courses are all part of his background. I’m excited to have him at the farm!
Rode him for the first time this morning and had me sold immediately. He has some things he needs to tuned up on but after a couple rides he’ll be golden!
A little fun at the barn yesterday for a client’s birthday! More pictures and videos to come ☺️
She’s always the first one to the gate 🥰
Eve is 8 months old now. I can’t believe I’ve already had her for four months! 😮
So far, she can lunge, be saddled, has good ground manners, and is comfortable with a fly mask. She’s gotten used to Oreo (the pig), as well as tarps and blankets being thrown/put on her. She’s used to ropes around her legs and body. Picks up all four hooves and has learned to put her nose in the halter when it’s presented to her. She’s been loaded in the bumper pull trailer a few times and does well with it. I have materials to build a bridge, so once that’s done we’ll be working on trail obstacles from the ground!
I haven’t tried to load her in the new trailer yet, but will be soon!
