Good morning fellow furry friends! We have a few announcements and policy updates that are as followed:

⭐️ Cancellation Policy: I work one-on-one with my clients, so appointment times are reserved for the specific amount of time required to complete your dog.
Giving me the required notice allows me to give your reserved appointment time to another client.

⭐️ Working one-on-one allows me to focus on one family at a time. I ask everyone to please drop off at your set appointment time and please be available to pick them up once you receive a message from me. Therefore, appointments won’t overlap.

AS OF FEBRUARY 14th 2022:

⭐️ We are no longer accepting new full groom clients at this time.

⭐️ A fee of 50% of the grooming cost will be charged for any appointment cancelled with less than 24 hours notice (this means that I'll need a call/text prior to 3pm on the day before your appointment).

⭐️ A fee of 100% of the grooming cost will be charged for same-day cancellations, no-shows, and cancellations that do not meet the 24 cancellation timeframe as noted above. If the fee is not paid, then it will need to be paid before making another appointment.

⭐️ A boarding fee of $5 for every 15 minutes the client is in my care will now apply. This applies if the owner has been notified that the client is done, with a 10-20 minute time frame, unless we have prior arrangements.

Hypothetical scenario:
You walk into work to hear your boss tell you that you will be missing $600 from your check this week because of invoices not being paid or because things were slow. What if it was $1000 that month out of your check? How would you react? What bill would you choose not to pay? What would you choose to go without?

This is what happens when people no show or cancel their appointments late for people like me. I am self-employed. I am my only employee. I rely on you to make your appointments to pay my bills. We understand emergencies happen, but 99% of missed appointments are because someone forgot or just didn’t feel like bringing them in. Most days it is too late in the day to try to fill that spot when we find out a person is no showing. We can’t just put more dogs on another day to make up for it. We schedule the amount of dogs we can safely do in a day and provide quality work.
Please keep this in mind when you schedule appointments. We have lives outside of work also. We schedule appointments around our appointments. We adjust our budget around our average income for the month.
You wouldn’t appreciate $600 a week being taken out of your check. We feel the same way. This is why we charge no show fees and late cancellation fees. We are asking you to respect our time, energy, and skill.
Just a friendly reminder for all the small business owners who work to put food on their table and pay their bills.

I want to let you know how grateful I have been for your patronage. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control, I am having to close down Show & Tail Grooming. I will be moving out of state the end of this week and will miss being able to service your fur babies. I have enjoyed getting to know you and your pup(s). Good evening fellow furry friends! We have a few announcements that are as followed:
1) As of June 1st, 2021 the price of our services will be increased due to the cost of supplies and products being used. Please bare with us as we are updating our Services tab and price menu.
2) We will now be accepting credit/debit cards as soon the site is updated, which will be within the next two weeks. The only form of payment that will be accepted is cash or card. No personal checks accepted.
3) Our business hours will be changing starting the week of June 7th, 2021. We will be open from 9 AM to 5 PM. We will no longer be accepting after hour appointments. Unless it is an absolute emergency which there will be a 25% fee added onto the total bill.
4) Due to the occurrence of last minute cancellations we will now be requiring the full amount due if the appointment is canceled in less than 24 hours. If the appointment is to be rescheduled we require a 50% down non-refundable deposit for your next appointment.
5) Because of the recent influx of new clients we will be requiring a 50% non-refundable deposit (for new climates ONLY).

🌻 Please bare with us as we are a one man team.
🌻 On that note we have some changes to our schedule. Starting April 11/12 we will no longer be taking appointments on Sundays or Mondays, appointments that have already been made after those dates will not be affected by this change. Show & Tail Grooming will be open Tuesday-Saturday with some exceptions. If for some reason there needs to be an appointment made on a Sunday or Monday there will be an emergency fee added to the bill depending on the severity of the appointment being needed.
