*** Meet my little angels litter ***
The babies are 2 weeks old and their eyes are open. They got their first little peticure today and they are growing very well.

We had a little bit of trouble with mom's gut flora getting out of balance post op but we have identified the gut bacteria responsible and are managing it holistically. Acacia gets her sutures out tomorrow and then the doctor says we can give mama a well deserved bath!

Quick pupdate -Acacia and her darling little trio are doing superb!

Pupdate... Our sweet first time mama has had a long day. She brought three puppies into the world at home, one was born asleep. The remaining two were delivered by C-section, and one did not make that journey.

There is both joy and quiet heartbreak here. We’re cherishing the babies we have while our hearts remain heavy over the ones who we hoped to watch grow along side their siblings.

Once everyone has rested and we are smoothly into recovery, we will introduce our newest babies.

What this box of delicious pastries has to do with chihuahuas... You see, Samson had his annual check up today, and on the way home we happened to be on the same highway it takes for us to get to Sophia Marie Patisserie. Going past our exit to get there wasn't an issue at all and totally worth it 🤣.

They just released the pistachio trompe-l'oeil this week, so I snagged one of those and the hubby and I both love the coffee bean trompe-l'oeil. The tarts are amazing and their croissants are so delicious. If you live close enough to get to this patisserie, I highly recommend patronizing this small business if you want to try something exceptionally crafted.
