Hello, I’m Jessica the owner of R.B Hammocks. 💙

In my spare time I make hand made hammocks for rats and other small animals. I like to make sure that every rat or small animal has a hammock that it perfect for them.

I started making hammocks because our rats were using so many it just made sense to start making my own. So I ended up trailing many different shapes and sizes to make the perfect hammocks. And they have all been tested by the retirement rats. I’ve also started making dog bandanas too.

At the Retirement Rats we adopt and foster rats from our local rescue Bacchus Residents Rescue. I began to volunteer at the rescue in 2021. We adopted two old boys, Clarence and Hickman, and haven’t stopped since then.
Many of the rats that we adopt and foster are elderly or have health issues. We just want to give them an extra special retirement home with lots of love and happiness. So we go through lots of hammocks.

I am currently studying animal management at college with the hope to continue working with animals in the future.

I really appreciate all the love and support from everyone.
