I’m not good at saying “No”…. But I have gone over my personal limit for this season and will not be receiving anymore animals at this time. If you have talked to me and I committed to taking your deer in, you’re are on my list and you have a spot. I would like to be able to do more but, taxidermy is a side gig and I need time for family and sleep.

I’m honored to mount these awesome animals and preserve the memories of the hunt. I hope the lucky hunters remember the their pounding heart beat at first sight, the buck-fever while taking the shot and the high fives and hugs at the end of the blood trail. Yeah, antlers are what we are after but if you don’t remember the hunt you’re missing the best part!

I entered my second Taxidermy show at the Arkansas Taxidermy Association. I was honored to receive the Most Improved Award and the Second-2-Nature Award. The mount means a lot to me and my son. He took all the deer at the age of 10 with; bow, muzzleloader and rifle. The flag is carved from lumber and has a lot of sweat and a few tears in the mix. My mounts received 2nd and 3rd place ribbons in professional division.

This Alaskan caribou was a treat to work on. The customer wanted a pack mount. These mounts are meant to capture a fresh harvest as it’s being “packed” out of the forest. The idea is to make it presentable but also NOT alive.

I really enjoyed working on this deer! Pedestal and wall pedestal mounts can have some added detail to them to give the mount a little extra in its presentation. This one features barn wood sculpted from bondo.
