There’s so many of you know, the horse in the photo below was in is my absolute everything. She took me through the hardest part of my life, and gave me more than I could ever ask for or repay her for. Known in the show ring as “Always Carry Cash “around the barn and everyone else who knew her a Spring, would have been 29 this March 25, and although she was not a rescue nor was she a part of the West Virginia Horse Network, she is the reason I have formed such a deep alliance with them . Horses like her who have confirmation issues, some behavioral quirks and are just overall special are the ones end up in trouble, they end up in wrong hands and end up meeting a horrifying fate. It’s the hardest day of the year for me, I miss her every day. She is the name sake of my small business and the reason I got into Magnawave PEMF, all of the body work that I do and everything I’ve educated myself on. It was all for her. She’s also the reason behind the name sake of my farm. She taught me that all of the cases out there that seems so hopeless sometimes aren’t as hopeless at all and it’s amazing what can be done and you can accomplish with a little effort, love and positivity. Sometimes science isn’t always factual and you can defy the laws of logic with grit, determination and faith. Although all the information and details cannot be disclosed I can tell you this, this rescue I love so much has been dealt a very unfair hand lately and suffered a severe blow to them financially of upwards of $4000. But they remain classy through it and dignified and that’s what I love so much about them. They carry on with their positive attitude regardless. This is the rescue that brought us O’Dell, Bow, Pepper, Gwinn, Neptune, Jolie, Coco and also assisted with the rescue of Henry, Gabriel and Max.
March 25th this year, Spring’s birthday, falls on the day of the horse network benefit spaghetti dinner. I try to attend every year if I can. In honor of Spring and her legacy and everything she taught me and everyone around her, I would love to be able to present to them on that day a donation of hard, physical items that are needed which I will list below. If you’re interested in donating, donations can be dropped off at Ohana Run Farm. I will also include a list of things that financially need covered, if you prefer to give a monetary donation please contact me and let me know what you would like to cover from the list and I will be presenting the check to them the night of the benefit dinner, which everyone is invited to. If you feel led to give a donation of any kind whether it be a physical item or monetary, please shoot me a message via Facebook or my cell phone at 304-638-0516.
