Did you know female ball pythons can retain s***m for years? We got a clutch of eggs today from a female that was last paired back in April of last year! Definitely a bit of a surprise. 6 healthy looking eggs in the incubator to start the 2024 breeding season.

We had a special subject matter expert checking on the babies this morning. He tried to teach us the “tickle tickle” method. It seems risky, so I’ll have to read up more on in it the Toddlers’ Field-Guide to Reptiles.
