Hello all. As you may know from our last update we postponed our reopening because my brother started his fight against cancer. As of last night just after 2 am he lost that battle. We will reopen within a week or two.

Hello all, Jason here. It's time for another update! We had plans on reopening August 1st. Unfortunately, it seems the 2020 vibe isn't done with us yet. I don't want to go into too much detail but I feel you all deserve to be in the know about Jamber's. My brother has started a battle against stage four cancer that is rapidly metastasizing to multiple organs. They live out of town but travel to the hospital near us often and stay with us. Until we as a family know our course of action we feel it's more important to push Jamber's reopening to September 1st. We hope you all understand.

On some happy news, our C. versicolor eggs are starting to become EWLS!

Hi all! We have some good news! Our workshop is about 80% done just needs insulation now. Even more exciting,we paired our versicolors (our very first time pairing) and it went super smooth! And three days ago...well just have look for yourself 😀 here's hoping for a good sac!

Hi all! I know it's been quiet here but here's an update! We finally have our new workshop built and in place. Now we're shopping around to get electricity ran to it. However we have hit a snag. One of our pups, Shadow, has torn her ligament in her rear leg. We're sure you all understand when we say our animals come first. We don't like asking for help but if you can share our gofundme to help us with the cost of surgery for Shadow we would truly appreciate it. On a lighter note we have acquired a male C. versicolor and hopefully here soon we can try pairing him with at least one of our lady's.

Hi everyone! Here's an update!

We finally got the clear to begin construction on the workshop. It's nothing too big so construction should be done in about a week. Then we need to have an electrician come and wire it up. Buuuut we will have to use flashlights for a while instead because Shadow (our white and gray pittie) injured herself and now needs leg surgery. So yeah it's been definitely interesting times here. But we are lining up some pairings for Ts!

Hi everyone! We're working hard on getting back up and running but with moving comes challenges. We love animals of all kinds but these guys like our new property a bit too much 😅. Anyhow just wanted to let you all know we're still here and will be back asap!

Hi everyone! We have officially moved! I know it's taking a bit longer than expected but there were some major obstacles that came up. Now we just need to unpack and get the workshop (an actual workshop with more room this time) up and running. Hi everyone! I know it's been pretty quiet here lately but it's because we are moving! 😃 Right now we run Jamber's off of one 8-foot table and a book case. Being cramped is an understatement. However, at our new place we're making an entire workshop just for Jamber's. Having such a space will help us streamline the process and keep up on orders better than before. We still currently have live tarantulas available and ready to ship but I'm expecting to be back up and running completely within the next 3 weeks. Until then, stay safe. Stay awesome! Its a long one y'all. TL;DR if you want a refund please let us know.

2021 hasn't started off great for us. We thought we could reopen after the holidays and hit it hard to start out great. Instead we got hit hard. Our lease is up on March 1st and we knew we had to move before then or buy our landlords house. Amber's mom had medical emergencies come up that we had to pay for which took our savings to go with buying the house we're in. So we looked to qualify for a home loan. We weren't approved. The reality of becoming homeless and losing everything was a very real threat. Yes, we searched all options but it came to the choice of losing our girls (pit bulls) or not and we will not give them up. Finally we got approved for something and started looking at places. First one was perfect but sold as we were walking through. Second one was great, not wonderful but we couldn't afford to be choosey. They accepted another offer. All while dealing with Amber's moms health. Then our car breaks and needs a $2k repair. I got it working but it's a guessing game every time.

I'm telling you this because it's not right for me to think I can still get orders out in a timely manner. There is no excuse and I apologize.

Things looking better we finally found a place and we're going through that process.

This morning Holly, Amber's mom, passed from a heart attack. She had a DNR so there was nothing that could be done.

There are a few orders I promised would go out and they will. But the rest won't be out until next Tuesday.

If you would like a refund please reach out I totally understand and will be happy to give it. I started this business wanting to be completely transparent and though there are no excuses the truth is it's been too much to handle.

Again please accept our apologies. We love you all and you and Jamber's have truly changed our lives for the better.

Hi all Jason here! Just a little update on Jamber's. We've stopped shipping live Ts for the winter until mid January (as of now, it may be extended). I've also decided to halt shipping on everything else until the 2nd week of January only because I need to take care of some health issues. As some of you know I got way behind on orders recently and you deserve to know why. I have been struggling with back and hip problems all year and it turns out I have scoliosis in my low back which has cause disk ruptures and nerve problems. Unfortunately it means minor things are difficult and extremely painful for me. So I am going to take this time to get all the proper imaging done and get this under control so I can start off Jamber's 2021 strong. The store will still be open and you will be able to place orders however please keep in mind they will not ship until January. I don't like putting things on pause but it's important I take care of this before it gets worse. Thank you all so much for everything! Hi everyone! It has come to my attention that the system we use for automated emails, for tracking info etc., is having some technical issues. We're working with their team to resolve this and are told it will back up by tonight. All orders have been handed off to USPS and are on the way even though when you get the email it may say the label was just printed. Hi everyone! We hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend! We are starting to work on orders placed over the weekend but it is A TON! We'll be going as fast as we can so please bear with us if we fall behind.

Now with that said I have some fun news! For the holiday season, 2 orders each week for every week for the month of December will be chosen at random via an RNG generator to be fulfilled for FREE! The only exception will be the shipping charge when buying a live tarantula. For example, if the order chosen is for a live tarantula the tarantula will be free but the fedex shipping will not be.

Hi everyone! To the people that have been around for a while thank you so much for your support and for anyone new to Jamber's welcome! I want to give you all some updates about whats happening here. We got in some new slings that were bred by Too Many Legs that will be added to the store next week so keep an eye out for some Halloween specials. Hi everyone! A quick update with some things we're working through. We know we were supposed to have restock up yesterday but our web host is running some type of server maintenance and now we have a disconnect between our website and etsy store. We're working with them to fix this and hopefully everything will be up and running soon. Also, Facebook has not been giving us notifications (on here and our personal accounts). Hi guys! Amber here! I just wanted to give you all a little update on our shop. As most of you have seen over the past few months, Jason has been having some health issues. We thought that things were getting better but the last week or so have been pretty rough for him. It has gotten to the point where he is unable to be in one position for very long so he has been unable to complete orders very quickly. At this point, we have made the decision to allow him time to rest and heal and I will complete the remaining orders. However, I hope that you guys will be patient with me as I work a full time job outside of Jamber's Critters so I only have evenings to work on orders. With that being said you have probably noticed that we have delayed the restock as well. I can't in good conscious put more up to be sold while we are this far behind on orders.
