Ch. Jaada's Set Fire to The Rain was BOB and BOBOH at the Western Washington Hound Assoc. Under judge Lori Nelson and Hal T Biermann. Sahara was shown to these wins by owner Markie Williams. Sahara is co owned by breeders Denise Degn Kelly and Braxton Hernandez .
She is the 5 champion from our India X Rookie litter.

Flashback Friday to Sahara winning her second major🎉 She finished out that weekend with her third major and completed her championship title with points to spare! Wish her luck this weekend as she enters the show ring as a new Champion!! 🎉😍🙏🏼💗

This just in! Little miss Sahara just won her third Major and finished her Championship title today with points to spare!! 🎉💕😍 We are so proud of how she has grown inside and out of the show ring and worked her way to a Champion at 18 months old. (AKC pending). Huge thanks to her breeder Denise Degn Kelly for showing her all four days at Puyallup and finishing Sahara’s title. Your dedication to the breed and to all your puppies is truly inspiring 🙏🏼💕❤️ Over the moon happy with this accomplishment and next step is to aim for her Grand Championship title, let’s go!! 🎉

Our little miss Jaada’s Set Fire to the Rain, aka Princess Sahara 👑 One year later back at the ring where she made her 4 month old puppy debut. She’s grown quite a bit but is just as sweet and silly if not more. Judges gave stellar remarks on her face as “perfection” but I think fell in love with her personality even more. Oh how we love this girl! Owned by Margaret Williams, Denise Kelly and Braxton Hernandez.

The last couple weeks of summer in Seattle were awful with smoke from a wildfire that had been burning for almost two months and hot, humid weather. But finally the rain came and it was like overnight, it was Autumn 🍂🍁🐕

Our motivation Monday is little miss Jaada’s Set Fire to the Rain, “Sahara”! She went Best of Winners and Best Opposite, both days last weekend at the Olympic Kennel Club in Enumclaw! Not bad for her first weekend in the show ring and we’re excited to see how she progresses..! Thank you to Carmen Ruby Beck for stepping in just when we needed an extra hand and for taking Sahara into the ring for best of breed.

This past weekend was HUGE for this litter and we have to highlight Sahara’s litter mates that showed in Reno 🎉

Jolene (Jaada’s Let Em’ Talk at Sunera) took WB for a 5 point major🎉

Raffi (Jaada’s New York State of Mind) took BOW for a 5 point major🎉

Gwen (Jaada’s Flash and Filigree) took RWB 🎉

Emmet (Jaada’s Ghost Dreams) took WD for a 3 point major🎉

And Sahara (Jaada’s Set Fire to the Rain) took BOW both Saturday and Sunday in Enumclaw 🎉.

We are so proud of these puppies and it’s very exciting to see so much potential, so early..!😍🎉🏆

Bugatti is relaxing in the back of the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach E after finishing showing the morning. He went Select Dog, earning two points to finish his AKC GRAND Championship!! 😄🙌🏼🏆 Not a bad way to start the weekend and wish us luck tomorrow..!

She follows me like a shadow and watches my every move, cuddles with me whether I’m happy or sad, and is always pleased to see me. I couldn’t ask for a better friend ❤️ this is our Princess Sahara 👑 ❤️

We are so happy to finally have some sunshine and temperatures reaching almost 80 degrees!! ☀️ It’s important to stay hydrated as the summer finally heats up, and Princess Sahara is ON IT! 🐕

The rain was incredibly challenging to deal with during for three days during showing this past weekend. It ranged from light sprinkling to absolute downpour and of course the downpour inconveniently coincided with the show times for the Afghan Hounds 🌧🤦🏼‍♀️🌧 At least everyone’s dog was dealing with the same circumstances and the dogs didn’t actually seem to mind all the rain 😅 Despite the challenges, we got some really nice ribbons, Bugatti went Select 3 out of 5 shows, and also Best Owner Handler 3 of 5 shows. Sahara went BOB Puppy and Group 3 and 2 at her first two shows! 😄🎉 Jaia did a fabulous job with grooming and coordination of dogs so all in all, we had a successful three days and can’t wait for the next shows…!

This is American Champion Skyedanes Rookie Dreamer JC - born April 10, 1995 and is the sire to our girl, JAADA'S SET FIRE TO THE RAIN “Princess Sahara”. Rookie was such a stunning dog and we’re so excited to have one of his offspring! Sahara will look exactly like her daddy someday..! 😍

Meet this week's : Komar’s Fast N’ Furious “Bugatti"

Bugatti is stunning 3-year-old Black Masked Red Afghan Hound, and he knows he’s gorgeous! Bugatti is not at all the “aloof” Afghan Hound according to breed standard. He’s very outgoing and loves to greet people and enjoys getting plenty of pets and attention. Bugatti is a great show dog because not only does he conform to the breed standard in his appearance but his personality really shines from the minute he steps into the ring! He is currently an AKC Champion and is working on his GCH title!

Bugatti loves to strut his stuff, enjoying his daily walks as well as car rides any day of the week! At home, he’s a total couch potato and likes to hog the sofa, but he loves to snuggle on the bed and watch tv with his humans even more!

He is truly man and woman’s best friend 🐶❤️😀
