Picnic
Quick video of picnic who has been with us over winter. Came to us very small and VERY poorly. Now looking great and is getting ready to go back home and back to the wild.
Last week I released my lovely Rupert Hog (who came to me literally in the worst state) into a large enclosed area desperate to Hetty hog. is he is doing amazing also! Rupert Hog will be released back to the wild from my house because he is unable to go back to his home. but at least I know that he’ll alway have a few warm dry homes to choose from and lots of food available ❤️
Picnic is big and string nowadays…
Well picnic is now almost 700g. Considering whether to try to get her off into supervised hibernation. Mary Lennon
So biscuit and I have just returned from the vet, 💸💸.
This is me trying to do the almost impossible task of administering his topical medication to his ear and upper eye area. He does not like his face being touched at all. Most of the costly ointment has ended up on the mat he is sat on and in his spines 😫😅
I had to abandon the operation in the end because I didn’t want to stress him. Need to put my thinking cap on!
It’s so cute the way he seems to turn around for me. But when he realises it’s more cream he isn’t having any of it! 🦔
Here is baby Ella. Her nose and foot are still healing and it’s a long process. She has gained lots of weight though following her treatment for intestinal fluke.
Without rescue this hog would have died and I wanted to say thanks to all those that donated items and therefore have helped me with the large cost of caring for her and all the others 🦔❤️🦔
🎄🎄🎄Merry Christmas 🎄🎄🎄, I think Christmas Eve is the perfect time to re post this video!🦔❤️🦔
Here is Tiggywinkle who at almost 700g is ready to go and live her natural life. Good luck roaming free little one 🦔❤️🦔
And finally here is a video of little biscuit this morning. ❤️🦔❤️
Throw back to summer and Hetty my lovely blind hedgehog (who lives in my secure garden as she is too vulnerable to live wild) having a good old sniff in the cabbage patch!
Hetty was hit by a car and had a nasty injury plus a heavy infection which she overcame with care and rehabilitation at Hulse Towers Hedgehog Rescue. She then cane to live with us! She was the first disabled hedgehog I cared for ❤️❤️
