For 2024 Bella and I managed to donate $4580 to many different organizations with another $335 to door county Wisconsin humane society. As everyone knows Bella no longer delivers checks with me but I have other dogs that have taken her spot. Can’t wait to have them join me.

Since July of 2020 we have managed to donate $19,477.

Another couple of weeks in the boot. Next step is PT then a MRI to check and make sure nothing is going on that the doctor can’t see and then a cortisone injection. No clue yet how long but hopefully it’s sooner than later. So to all my clients I’m sorry if I cancel things but any days I can get into PT I am going to so I can get the boot off sooner.

Hound of My Heart Policies/Information (for dog walks, nail trims, grooming, training and pet sitting: overnights and visits):

-All pets need to be up to date on all vaccines, heartworm and flea and tick medication unless note from veterinary as to why they aren’t. (As a result I may end up not being able to take your pet on as a client.) If I am pet sitting at your home overnight all vaccines are a must as my dog stays with me at your home.

-All payments are due at the time of service no matter what. For pet sitting jobs if I’m taking care of your pet for longer than a week I will gladly take half at the beginning and half at the end.

-For overnight pet sitting jobs I can be gone up to 6 hours during the day, if your pet needs a mid day visit please talk to me before you leave as some days I may not be able to do a visit. For pet visits, normal visits are from 7-9 Am, 2-4 aftenoon and 7-9 Pm. I will do a noon visit for additional cost.

-Please always have a 1-2 people as back ups incase something happens and I am not able to get to your pets. Emergencies can happen.

-In winter please make sure you have someone that can plow your driveway especially if it’s long.

-Reminder texts will always be sent the day before so if you don’t hear from me please check in with me.

-For overnight pet sitting and visits I will always check in after your return time just to confirm you have made it back or please send me a message to confirm you made it home.

-Dog walks will not be done in heavy rain, icy roads or extreme hot or cold temperatures for your pets safety and mine.

-A 3 strike rule consists for dog grooming, nail trims and dog walks. (Example: if i text you to see if your pet is ready for a appointment and don’t get a response back from you, I will check in again in 2 weeks, I will do that 2 more times and if no response I will remove your pet off my list. If you do respond back to me at a later time for an appointment, going forward all appointments will need to be booked ahead.)

-If i send a reminder of your appointment the following day and don’t get a response back from you I wont show up at your home.

-If i send you date and time for your pets appointment, I will only hold that spot for a day and then pass it off to someone else.

-Dog walks and nail trims can pay for 10 appointments and get one free.

-If no one is home for an appointment and i show up after getting a confirmation i will only wait 5 minutes and you will be charged half price.

-For grooming and nail trims if your pet attempts to bite or shows sign of aggression your pet will get a muzzle.

-Any pets that have mats will need to be brushed or shaved out before a bath. Some mats are close to the skin so brushing is out of the question. If you want your pets longer in the winter we will discuss changing grooming appointments so they are closer together.

-Any payments that aren’t received the day of, will need to be paid within a week or I will charge additional fees.

Cancellation policies:
-Pet sitting: Overnight and visits please try to cancel within 48 hours or you will be charged. (I don’t have a set rate for that as it will depend upon how long you would be gone for.)

-Nail trims: Please cancel within 12 hours

-Dog walks: Please cancel within 12 hours

-Dog training: Please cancel within 12 hours

-Dog grooming: Please try to cancel within 24 hours

If you cancel before those time frames you want be given a fee.
