Stanley plum has fragrant skin with sweet juicy flesh and this reine claude doree green gage is like honeysuckle, honey water...European plums are drier and sweeter than Japanese plums..

Miltoniopsis is one of the hardest/finickiest orchids I have ever had. Ive killed 8 of them to figure out how to care for the 3 I have left. Also known as the pansy orchid, its rose like fragrance is making me want more. First bloom ever in my entire life. Variety is Ambers Charm "cream puff"

Methley plums, very juicy, with tangy skin. Thin aggressively....we didn't thin this year, so they are small.

Tomatoes rot like this? This is blossom end rot and presents itself from calcium deficiency. Tomatoes and peppers consume large amounts of calcium (calcium nitrate fertilizer) and magnesium (epsom salts). They need both to absorb each other. I give supplementation every 5th watering and alternate calcium and magnesium.

I get them at the size on the right. The size on the left is after a few months....Orchids can be very slow growers

Coffee hasn't kicked in yet, and assessing the summer orchard work here in northwest, Ohio. The "farm" in central, Ohio is drying, so we can continue work. Photos to come!
