I am a 4 year old Black and White Argentine tegu who loves to meet new people and make new friends. I am also known as the tegu with 2 hearts because I have a big heart inside and also a heart withing my pattern on my side.

If you would like to know a little about my kind of tegu, we are native to Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina. Our lifespan in the wild is between 15 to 25 years so expect a long term relationship if you chose to take one of us home. My family has spent a lot of time with me which is why I am so loving and tame. If we aren't shown attention we can become aggressive and possibly hard to handle. Our diet should consist of appropriately sized insects - including crickets, mealworms, and waxworms, plus high calcium fruits. Avoid feeding us adult rodents regularly, as fur impactions could occur. All food should be dusted with a reptile calcium supplement regularly and a vitamin supplement approximately once a week.

In conclusion, if you are looking for a reptile that is cooler than a dog but with a lot of the same features look into giving one of us a forever home. You won't regret it!
