🧡 Gourd was brought in as a stray and never claimed! This adorable fella is so friendly and loving, it’s clear he was owned at one point but no information has come in. His past is a mystery but his future is bright. He’s now available to find a new home to love and cherish him. Gourd is estimated around 2 years young. He’s an intact male, has been vaccinated and flea/parasite treated at the shelter. He loves people and is feeling depressed in the shelter. He can’t wait to find some humans who will give him all their attention. 😻

This mom & son duo have lost their home due to owners heath crisis. 💔 Precious (tabby) is 5 years old and now spayed. She had her one kitten Brutus (black & white) on Christmas Day 3 years ago this Christmas. He is now neutered as well. The duo love each other and their owner but he sadly had to part with them in an emergency. The 2 cats have only lived in a quiet home and are now very out of sorts at the busy shelter. The duo are looking for a home together only after being through such turmoil and change in their lives. Available 2 for 1 adoption fee with the hopes they can find a home quickly. They’ve lived with calm dogs in the past. Brutus is more outgoing than his mom who is quite shaken up right now. Their owner describes them as very loving cats who always slept in bed with him at night. 🥺

Sweet siblings, Rochelle and Rory, are looking for a new home TOGETHER due to developing allergies in their current household. They are both spayed/neutered and indoor only cats.

Rory (grey/white) is a male. He loves to be cuddled and follow you around. He lays on the floor and lets you rub his belly. He is a big sweetheart and loves attention from anyone.

Rochelle (black/white) is a female who is more timid, but equally as sweet. She loves rubbing into your legs for some wet food. She will cuddle her owners on the couch, but on her own terms. She is very quiet and polite.

Both cats like to sleep with their owners at night in the bed. They are also very playful, chasing each other around often.

They have no experience with dogs or children at this time.

Tigger has been with us 230 days. She is our 2nd longest shelter resident. She came in with her son Sam but he has since been adopted. Tigger would love to find her retirement home.

Meet Tigger!

Tigger is a brown tabby and she is 10 years old. Tigger absolutely LOVES treat time & meal time! She is a little more on the reserved side and likes to hang out in the cat tower. She unfortunately had to come to us after her owner when into senior living.

She has been fully FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and is SPAYED. She does ok with other cats in her room and even met a few dogs with no issues. We think a quieter home would be best suited for her personality type.

Poor Keko thought she found her forever home, she absolutely loved living with children (which was a surprise to us) but unfortunately she was returned due to the other cat in the house picking on her. 💔 Keko came to the shelter a nursing mom and waited a long time to be adopted. This can’t happen a second time to her.. she is ADORABLE! 😻🤩 A young dilute calico, petite in stature, meek & mild personality who gets along with most any person or animal. ✔️ Keko is a wallflower who could be overlooked if she’s sleeping in a cubby hole during visiting hours. Along with her docile personality and beautiful features she’s also spayed, estimated around 2 years old, fully vaccinated and up to date with deworming. Keko is the full package ready and waiting to be delivered to her new forever home! 🙏💖

Sunny has been at the shelter 237 days. Right now she is our longest shelter resident. She is a gorgeous cat who is not very social with people.
She loves her treats and wet food. She just need someone to give her a chance to become part of a family. She should be fine with other cats once she gets used to them and maybe a home with just adults of older children.

She is FELV/FIV tested, SPAYED, FVRCP vaccinated, flea treated and dewormed.

UPDATE: Briar has an ADOPTION PENDING! 🥳🥳🥳💗💗💗 She’s leaving the shelter in a few days! Her new owner promises to send pictures once Briar settles in to her new home. 🥰

Briar update: she doesn’t want to live here anymore 😿

If you haven’t been following Briar’s story she arrived at the shelter from a home with no other pets. She was put into a room with the other females like normal protocol. It became clear very quickly that she really didn’t like the other cats and had to stay separated from them. She became depressed in her cage and hated even seeing them through the bars. We moved Briar out into the ”hallway” which means she had access to the hall, the office, kitchen, laundry. All the public areas of the shelter where many “shelter cats” have lived and enjoyed their lives. Briar seemed to really love this at first. (Top left photo) she was out on the desk, greeting public, following staff and volunteers around. But as the days went on it started to bother her greatly that she could see and smell the other cats through the glass doors. She will hiss, growl and smack at the glass when she has to go by them. If a cat happened to run into the hall.. it completely ruined her day. She would hide for the rest of it, usually behind the washer. Everything got worse a few days ago when she had a run in with a dog who was visiting. Obviously at an SPCA we have many animals come and go daily. This last incident really seems to have scared her. She hasn’t come out of the lining closet (bottom left photo) or hiding behind the washer for the last 2 days.

It has become really clear now. Sweet Briar doesn’t want to live here.. she wants a quiet home of her own. 😿🥺

Please someone who has a nice, cozy, quiet place for our beautiful little purrmuffin. 🙏 She loves to sleep, relax and loves attention until she’s ready to sleep again. Briar is very sensitive.. she doesn’t like the business and constant change the shelter life brings. If you know someone who would be a good fit for this sweet girl please tag them! She’s spayed, fully vaccinated and dewormed. Estimated 2-4 years old! Her adoption fee is sponsored! (Thank you Joan Snow!💖) She needs a home now.

These gorgeous boys are looking for a home together as they do everything together.

They are 10 months old and are very sweet cats. They did live with cats and children before so they would be fine after an adjustment period.

Please keep in mind they are longer haired cats so they would require regular brushing to keep them looking handsome.
