Handsome gentleman Pete was back with us. He is such a good helpful boy that he stands still and aims his head as you put his harness on. And then lets you put his socks and boots on, totally surrendering that foot and then once on, keeping his foot on the ground so you can do up the zip. Small things that all add up.

For those that are new here:

I'm Sarah-Jayne, an almost 37 year old very happily married (to Graham), mother of two children (G10 and B8).
Our home is a basic ex council house in a not at all posh area, but your dog won't mind. We have extra large orthopedic K9 Comfort sofa dog beds (very comfortable and supportive for old bones), and plenty of fluffy donut beds. The back garden is a decent size for zoomies.
We love sighthounds in this house, and have our own saluki x called Penny, she's 8 and gorgeous.

I've been home boarding for a little over a year now, (Licence Number - BOES/24515/1). The sighthounds we like best here are the quiet ones. Shift working hubby, neighbours both sides and kids who have early nights - if your dog will cry LOUDLY or bark when I leave the room they're in, they won't be a good match here.

Boarding is 9am-9am £35
Daycare 7am-7pm £30
Half Day £15
A trial sleepover is a must for all new boarders, £35. Once a trial is booked and paid for, holiday dates will be provisionally put into the calendar. If the trial is a success, a 25% deposit is to be paid to secure those dates, within 5 days, otherwise the dates are released for others to book. Total remaining is to be paid before drop off.

Dogs sleep upstairs with us if they like. Some of the little needy ones even sleep in our bed with us. We don't do crates and we'll break your rules and let them onto the bed for morning cuddles.

All dogs have to wear a collar throughout their stay here, which I attach a Tractive GPS tracker to, for my extra peace of mind. Dogs remain attached to my waist for walkies and save the zoomies for our garden.

I'll need some forms filled out and sent prior to the trial. Vaccinations have to be up to date and proof sent too. Fleas eat me alive so none of those please or worms, thanks :D

Pella (apparently Saluki X Whippet) from Bucks came to stay for her trial sleepover. She is a little sweetie - wary to begin with but by this morning she was very affectionate with Graham and I.

It was wonderful to have gorgeous Tommy back with us, and although we miss Polo, it was great to meet the lovely Flossie.
This stay was for Flossie's trial sleepover, and she was a bit freaked out as everything was so unfamiliar. Penny wasn't keen on her nervy vibes. But we were fortunate to have Tommy&Flossie for a second unexpected night and that was when we saw Flossie truely relax and enjoy being here. And as you can see, Penny had warmed right up to her and they even shared the sofa together.
