ing families. We work in conjunction with shelters and other organizations to help save animals on death row, the strays on the street, or ones in unsafe living conditions. We adopt in the DC, VA, and MD areas, with a few exception out of the tri-state area depending on the dog and situation. Besides the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of the dogs we save, we do community outreach to educate on the importance of spay/neuter and responsible breed ownership. We are driven by love, compassion, and hope. Since our founding in 2010, we have successfully rescued and placed 3,000 dogs in the local Washington Metropolitan area. Over 11 Million dogs and cats are euthanized every year in the U.S. They are healthy, adoptable pets whose only fault is that they don't have a place to call home. Most people are unaware that there are so many wonderful dogs in shelters who are in need of being rescued. All over the US, our animals are in crisis; MMR is doing what it can to be part of the solution to end this problem.
