🔙 Ebenfalls ein reines Funktionsmuster ist der selbstfahrende Vierkreiselschwader aus dem Jahr 2002. Zwar hatte sich KRONE vom Swadro 1500 mit 15 m Arbeitsbreite als Anhängervariante verabschiedet, doch gibt es spezialisierte Lohnunternehmen, die diese und noch größere Arbeitsbreite nachfragen – wenn noch nicht heute, dann aber in einigen Jahren. Das war Grund genug für Dr. Josef Horstmann (Geschäftsführer Konstruktion & Entwicklung) und seine Mannschaft, mit Baugruppen vom Swadro 1500 und vom Selbstfahrmäher BiG M einen solchen ersten Prototypen zu bauen.
Another functional model is the self-propelled four-rotor rake from the year 2002. KRONE may have laid the Swadro 1500 with a working width of 15 metres to rest as a mounted model, but there are still a number of specialist contractors who require machines with this and larger working widths, if not today, then at least in the next few years. This was reason enough for Dr. Josef Horstmann (Managing Director R&D) and his team to produce prototypes for such machines, using components from the Swadro 1500 and the BiG M self-propelled mower. 🔙
