Love how dog friendly L’Auberge () is! Grab a beverage and a bite to eat in the lobby then head up to their rooftop to watch our incredible sunsets! Always Odin approved! 🐾❤️

Dog friendly restaurants are open for dine-in in Solana Beach! Tidewater Tavern allows dogs inside and on their patio. Pizza Port has patio seating. Also, look for this bench for an awesome photo opp 😉 Odin approved! 🐾❤️

is an amazing dog friendly restaurant! They offer a puppy menu (swipe photos) and dog bowls. The patio is large with ample space between tables so dogs can be separated and also tables on the boardwalk. The human menu and view is great for us too! Definitely Odin approved! 🐾❤️

Take an autumn getaway to Lake Cuyamaca! The fall colors are magnificent! We rented a motor boat at an off-season price for fishing that dogs are allowed in. We then had dinner at dog friendly Lake Cuyamaca Restaurant. Odin had perfectly grilled chicken :) @ Lake Cuyamaca

Our favorite family hangout is Knotty Barrel ()! The outdoor patio is huge with tall tops, low tables, picnic benches and seats around fire pits with turf. They have a “secret” doggy menu of chicken breast, hamburger patty or steak for the pups! They bring their food out in dog bowls and also have water bowls for them. For the adults, an extensive menu for food and alcohol. What I liked most as a human, multiple TVs outside to watch many different sports! It’s very family friendly too with kids enjoying the turf and monster jenga! Odin approved 🐾

Join us for Dog Day Sundays at Carol’s Restaurant at Baily Vineyard and Winery in Temecula this Sunday, October 27! They have live music and are having a Doggie Costume Contest with judging at 1:30pm. They have an extensive doggie menu and if you wear this shirt your pups get a free entree! Their human menu and wines are great too!

This is Sunset Mountain Vineyards(https://m.facebook.com/sunshinemountainvineyard/?fref=ts) it’s just a quick drive off the 15 in San Marcos and worth the drive...if you don’t live close. Huge dog friendly property and they’re welcomed inside the tasting room also. For the humans, amazing wine and great view! 🐾

Made it to Carruth Cellars Wine Garden () in Little Italy! They are very dog welcoming! A large covered patio with much seating so dogs can be separated and water for them. Great wines and artisan pizza for humans too! 🐾

What has his attention?! Corn hole beanbags! Local Roots Kombucha () brought the outdoors in. Their location is like a backyard or park with turf, picnic tables and Adirondack chairs to sit on and also a cozy sofa area. They are dog friendly throughout. For the adults, amazing hard and non-alcoholic kombucha and did I mention, corn hole?!

Walking past The Crack Shack () in Little Italy we knew they would be dog welcoming! Their patio is huge with tables with high or low seating. (I prefer low so I could be closer to Odin). They bake treats for our pups and offered a water bowl when we sat down. I was told they would like to have chicken appropriate for dogs on their menu. Fingers crossed! For adults, extensive food and alcohol menu, many TVs and a bocce ball court! Odin approved 🐾

Latitude 33 Brewery () is dog friendly throughout with a lot of seating inside and out. They have a few rooms and a patio so dogs can be separated if needed. They offer dog treats and have water bowls for the pups and great beer, pool and corn hole for adults!

A hidden gem is Viewpoint Brewing Co. (). Dogs are welcome throughout and they have an expansive turfed area with easy access to a walking trail to relieve your pup of energy or other things 😉 They even bake their own dog treats for our dogs! Odin approved 🐾

Tired of San Diego 🤷🏻‍♀️ We have local getaways on our site also! Head to wine country including dog welcoming Thornton Winery (). Their patio is huge and they have a large lawn for picnicking! Perfectly grilled chicken for Odin and an extensive wine list! Odin approved! 🐾

Dog welcoming Menghini Winery () welcomes dogs into their tasting room and they have a large outdoor patio! Enjoy a glass of wine while watching apple pickers and soaking in the relaxing rustic, backcountry feel. It is such a cute location and their wines are delicious too! Odin approved!

There’s a chill in the air! One of our favorite places to watch the sunset is atop then we head down to the fire pit at Bleu Bar. L’Auberge is dog welcoming throughout even at their Living Room bar and Coastline Restaurant. Odin approved! 🐾

Urban Winery and Tasting Room in Solana Beach is very dog welcoming! Most important for Odin on a hot day was their fresh water and cold floor! Great wines for humans too 😅 (I will soon take Odin to their Wine Garden in Little Italy)

Plus is sooooo dog friendly! Amazing rooms and views and your pup is allowed throughout. They also have a great rooftop lounge with a complimentary wine hour! Be sure to check the Laguna Beach leash laws.

About us: I’m Natalie, a native San Diegan. He’s When traveling and exploring it's hard to find dog friendly places where Odin would be welcomed, so it takes a lot of time and research. Also, we do not like to go to places that say they are "dog friendly" but then we end up on a tiny porch without shade and they don't offer water to Odin.

Therefore, we are compiling locations where we feel most welcomed; places that are clean, inviting, comfortable and have a friendly staff! We have visited all listed locations, hence the “Odin approved 🐾” stamp of approval 😀. We welcome any comment and suggestions!

Soaking up the sunset at . We love hanging at the Sun Deck Bar and Grill where there is ample seating and Odin can have an unseasoned hamburger patty! Dogs are allowed mostly throughout the hotel expect not on their beach, but Coronado dog beach is just a mile away. Odin approved 🐾

Co****le anyone? has a large dog friendly patio covered by umbrellas and a portable A/C unit for these hot days...and heaters when it’s cold out. Water bowls and a la carte chicken breast and hamburger patty for our dogs! Odin approved 🐾
