🌼 Welcome! Jane here - I'm so happy you've found my page. Here's a wee introduction to me and my face painting journey 🌼
I've been a professional children's entertainer for over 20 years and always dabbled with face painting, but really fell in love with the art around 10 years ago when I attended a convention with many others artists from around NZ and amazing tutors from around the globe. I was so inspired and absolutely hooked!
I'm now delving deeper into the world of face and body art, so Marigold Soul is born - an outlet for me to expand my skills, practice more and share my art with you! I'm lucky enough to also paint for several local entertainment companies and alongside some other pretty amazing artists when they need an extra pair of hands.
If you think I'm familiar, you may have seen me fluttering about as a local fairy. In fact, you can still book me as a fairy face painter through Beyond the Faerie Tree (link in comments) and my wonderful friend Snowdrop will organise this for you!

My favourite part of this job is the joy and magic it brings. Nothing beats a gorgeous smile when the child I've painted glances in the mirror for the first time! And the creativity is an absolute dream.
It's important to me to provide a professional, safe, reliable, friendly and fun service. Each little face is made to feel special and given my full attention. I give the very best I can to every single event!
I am based at the Waimakariri Gorge, between Oxford and Sheffield. But happy to travel into Christchurch, Rangiora, Rolleston or wherever I'm needed. Please reach out if you would like to chat about a party or event!
