After a year off due to my own injury we are back at it!
Below are pictures of a horse previously labeled by other trainers as ‘dangerous’ and ‘malice’.
Cas has spent the last 3 weeks with TPH developing his own confidence and balance. I think the pictures speak for themselves, in showing how lovely this horse really is.
While still young and green (with a long way to come) I would say this horse is a very quick learner and try’s his hardest to please!

Puppies and Ponies - who could ask for anything more!

In the last week we have:
- Welcomed another beautiful litter of puppies (will be the last litter for a good while - so get in quick if your looking for a little girl)
- Bought my own Tara’s Kryptonium and Tara’s Rosalee back into work who have been spelled post breaking in.
- Bought Josie Faulkner’s beautiful Henry back into work after an extended spell (pictured dark bay)
- Bought Vanessa Rwc’s fabulous Garry back into work after an extended post breaking in spell (pictured light bay)
- Lessons, Lessons and Lessons!

I look forward to posting some more pictures over the next few weeks also - get ready for some puppy cuteness 🥰

I am currently fully booked up with training until late September at this stage, with my Christmas period already starting to fill up!

Warning - wound pictures (although I have only used pictures after daily cleaning so not to bad)

Progression photos (in order) of Henry’s face over 3 weeks post surgery.
Henry had a 210 tooth removed via repulsion meaning that under general anaesthetic an incision was made over the root of the tooth which was then punched out from above. This procedure is clearly invasive to a number of facial structures including the sinus requiring an oral plug (also pictured) to be put in place in order to minimise the risk of infection during the healing process.
Henry returned from the vet surgery requiring his face to be cleaned and repacked daily for the first week in conjunction with antibiotics and pain medications. Following this the hole was left open to heal (with daily cleaning), returning to the surgeon for a check up and plug removal at exactly 2 weeks. Post plug removal Henry required his mouth to be flushed daily to ensure that feed does not compact in the hole. As seen in the pictures his face started to develop proud flesh which cleaned and was treated with yellow lotion. During this process he has remained fly vailed 24/7.
Henry has been a perfect patient allowing me to poke, prod, scrub, flush and treat his wound from every which angle and having no complications 😁 Henry will be returning home to his owner this weekend and I’m sure is looking forward to being the centre of attention being the sole receiver of treats!

Just when I was about to give up on breeding season!
A last minute, spur of the moment decision to load one of my best competion horses and travel 5 hours one way to visit one of my amazing sponsors has paid off! I can not thank Dr John Chopin of Morganville Mobile Vet for a Christmas Eve frozen insemenation (please please move back).
Not only a long journey, but also one requing me to change my choice of stallion (something I very rarely do once I have an idea as good as I had) but being that it was Christmas my hand was forced - just as well I have plenty of frozen Junior semen!
Today we got a positive 19 day scan! Here is to the very long wait to meet our Kaidence Dark Ballet MA X Moonbah Ridge Memories foal 😍

We can now mark 2022 as another year that super vet John Chopin of Morganville Mobile Vet has had to go all out to make sure that the heard are in full health seen below giving antibiotics to our lovely Moonbah Ridge Memories Christmas morning!

We had a great first outing at Allora on our home bred kids Tara’s Rosalee and Tara’s Kryptonium.
Arriving Friday afternoon the horses settled in for the night ready for a trot pole clinic in the indoor Saturday morning - after realising that the indoor isn’t a scary place, they settled in and worked well. Today we ventured out into the dressage arena with really positive feedback from the judges and spectators although placings were not awarded Rosalee finished her prep test on 71.33% and Kurt (Kryptonium) on a 69.8% in the preliminary.

Due to a cancellation I have had one spot open up for on site horse training from the 5/12/22 - 26/12/22. How beautiful are these 6 puppers (some double pics because I couldn’t pick just one) 😍😍😍
I will begin taking EOI’s and deposits starting this weekend! FL Sleep x Xander litter- 5 boys and 1 girl.
The last litter of this cross have all gone to loving family homes ranging from young children to the elderly (yes I check in and follow up with all pups that leave me).
