Sometimes little things teach us big lessons in life.

Diesel said goodbye to his foster mom yesterday so he could have his happy ever after. His foster home was just a pit stop to his forever journey

Diesel is going to a wonderful lady that will go above and beyond and give him the best life.

Diesel has come a long way from the dog on cherry road by the stop sign watching the world go by or running up to his favorite dog friends.

His tail wags now when he sees his food or favorite humans. He jumps like a whale when it’s dinner time. He will come now for treats or queso. Big queso guy. He still hates storms.

He loves his dog pack. His new mom will send us pictures to keep us posted on how he grows and improves throughout the years.

We are so happy for him, we hope Diesel can teach everyone not to give up or think they are living a great life on the side of the road to stop and give them a chance. They don’t have a voice but with a little patience your love can go a long way to have a dog that didn’t trust once upon of time to trust and feel love by humans again.

Fostering a dog can help give them a chance to a great life of love.

Diesel will always hold Tomball & Cherry road in his heart. Don’t worry, he isn’t far so he will be keeping an eye on his town. 😉

Dear Tomball….

Thank you…. Thank you for giving me a chance. If it wasn’t for y’all posting me everyday, I would just be another dog on the side of the road that has a 50/50 chance at his forever.

Thank you to those that believed in me. To the ones that used to argue with people about how I was living my best life on the streets and to just leave me alone... I wasn’t. I was scared and alone.

But bless your hearts for thinking you knew what I needed while you drove past me and went home to have dinner in your A/C homes during the summer or during a thunderstorm while I cried in the woods on Cherry road.

It’s crazy to see a “street dog” turn into a house dog with just a little patience, hope and love.

Next time you see a dog on the side the road, all I ask is think how you could change his life if you stopped and fostered him to give him a chance at his forever home.

My Foster Mom left me with my foster grandma while she went hiking in Arkansas. She bought me a Christmas bandana and goodies!

I'm getting used to the car. Had to go back to the vet for more staples today. My foster mom had to work so we rode around with her and got another pup cup.🐾

Diesel is out of surgery! 🐾

He did GREAT! Blood work came back normal. The vet loved him! He was greeted by his foster with a pup cup and is now back home sleeping on his dog bed.
