🔃 CK9T Wrapped 🔃

2025… what a year you’ve been.
I got a little distracted looking back at the numbers and milestones, and wow some huge things happened 🤯

But while 2025 has been phenomenal, it also came with the not so pretty side that doesn’t make the highlight reel:

✨ Imposter syndrome kicking my ass
✨ Trialling systems, spending hours learning them… then deleting them
✨ Burnout
✨ Having to fire clients
✨ Learning how debt collectors work (not on my bingo card)
✨ Saying goodbye to some truly incredible dogs
✨ Panicking that Digga was dying, not once, not twice, but three times (hello vet bills 😅)
✨ Chronic health flare-ups
✨ And questioning daily whether I can actually train dogs 🤪

The reality is, 2025 had massive highs and some really heavy lows. I’ve learned an incredible amount. Not just from dogs, but from their humans too.

I’m endlessly grateful for my support system: mentors, clients, friends, and family who keep me grounded, remind me why I do this, and tell me to keep going when my brain says otherwise.

I’ve appreciated the ride that was 2025… but honestly?
I’m so ready for 2026 🔥

📚 2025 YEARBOOK 📚

A few months ago I decided to do something fun (and slightly unhinged) to wrap up the year and say a proper thank you to my clients… and somehow the 2025 Yearbook was born.

What started as a “this will be quick” idea turned into pages full of dogs, personalities, progress, inside jokes and moments that made this year what it was. It’s a little chaotic, very heartfelt, and a snapshot of the incredible community we’ve built together.

Over the past two days I’ve been travelling all over Geelong acting as Santa, delivering these in person 🎅. Enjoy this little sneak peek of the CK9T demo dogs 👀

Endless gratitude for the dogs who taught me, the humans who trusted me, and the community that continues to show up.

This year was big, messy, beautiful, and full of heart.

🕧 8 YEARS AGO 🕧

8 years ago we welcomed Arlo (originally Ferris) into our lives 🥹

A tiny American Staffy x Mastiff who quietly changed the course of my life.

He became my shadow through my NDTF course, pushing me to learn, question, and grow in ways I never expected. My sidekick and a phenomenal teacher.

Forever my heart dog. Miss you endlessly 🧡

✨ Group Classes ✨

Saturday night and Sunday mornings crew 💪

Welcoming some new faces! Ollie the flat coat retriever and Bear the border collie, both smashing it 🔥

We had a variety of focuses on the weekend… including loose leash walking, improving humans handling skills, recall and trick training!

Our last week of our foundation course was completed yesterday and I’m so stoked with the doggos improvements! Ready to join our weekly crew 💪

Todays focus: PLAY 🔥🔥

✨ Asking the crew to stay committed to play regardless of distractions (dogs and humans)
✨ Building motivation for the food and toys
✨ Asking the dogs to incorporate tricks, obedience and impulse control during play

And most importantly… doggos having FUN!

And today officially is starting to feel like summer!

Todays crew either loving or wanting to hide from the sun 🤣

We had a few different focuses today including loose leash walking, engagement, confidence building, recall and play 🔥

✨ SMOKEY ✨

Smokey is living every dogs dream, currently travelling Australia with her humans. So while they were in Geelong we caught up to get Smokey off to the best start!

With Smokey’s lifestyle in mind we focused on…
➡️ Recall. Teaching Smokey to recall, speedy and enthusiastic every time and reliably!

➡️ Engagement. Australia is an exciting place, so we started teaching Smokey that her humans are more important!

➡️ Play. Giving Smoky an outlet for her drive (and boy does she have it!) and teaching her windows of opportunity.

➡️ Place training. Travelling Australia means sometimes Smokey will need to do nothing, introduced Smokey to this concept.

➡️ Loose leash walking. Whilst not a huge focus it was still important for Smokey’s humans (and Smokey) to know how to work with the leash.

➡️ Puppy Development. Smokey is still such a baby so we spoke on how to problem solve puppy problems and how to see her up for successful adult!

I can’t wait to hear how miss Smokey develops 🥹

P.S. will she ever grow into those ears? I’m obsessed 😍

✨ 10 YEARS ✨

Happy 10 year gotcha day, Digga 🐾😭

I still remember the first moment we met. You launched yourself at the front gate and scared the absolute s**t out of us 🤣 And then, two minutes later, you were on the deck with your head resting on Mum’s shoulder… and that was it. We were done. You chose us.

From that moment on, you’ve been the heart of our family.

Here’s to 10 years of love. adventure, loyalty, chaos, comfort, and everything in between.

To the dog who has raised six puppies, supported hundreds of client doggos, taught us more than we ever taught him, and still somehow finds every sunspot in the house like it’s his full time job ☀️

Now 11 years young, happily retired, and still the best thing that ever happened to us.

Here’s to many more chapters with you by our side x

✨ BOWSER ✨

This handsome little man has started privates as his family wanted to set him up for success 🔥

We have a major focus on….
✨ Engagement - little man is quite an excitable dude so we’re teaching him to focus back on his humans
✨ Recall - He is quite attached to his humans, so we took advantage of that and started to introduce a more structured recall
✨ Loose leash walking - Bowser already has a tendency to be at the end of the leash, so we’ve started teaching Bowser how the leash works
✨ Puppy Development - building confidence so he can tackle anything the world throws at him 🔥
✨ Common Puppy problems - he’s a bit of a mouther and a jumper, so implementing management to complement our training has been key

I’m so excited to see Bowser develop 🔥🥹
