Seven years ago yesterday, our little kitten Jinxy McJinx tree-ed herself in one of the biggies on our property after being chased by a neighbors dog. If you zoom in, you can see the little girl. She was just 8 months old. Our biggest ladder couldn’t reach her. The ladder was 24 feet. And, there was a nor’easter coming that night. But this exterminator salesman showed up at our door and turns out he climbed coconut trees in Fiji while in the Marines. Up he went and down he came with the little brat. Divine intervention, for sure. God sent this man for Jinxy McJinx. We are grateful to this day.

Last night there was a 7th birthday celebration for Jinxy McJinx the famous cat. It was a star studded event. This year we were joined by a number of Jinxy fans. And here’s how it went.

Just living her best life. Jinxy McJinx the famous cat is thankful to all the men and women who have sacrificed their lives so she can roll around on the lawn safe and happy.

We were out tonight and intended to do Jinxy McJinx’s annual birthday video in a couple of days. On the way home, overwhelming guilt came over us so we decided we had to do it on her birthday.
