Last night there was a 7th birthday celebration for Jinxy McJinx the famous cat. It was a star studded event. This year we were joined by a number of Jinxy fans. And here’s how it went.

Jinxy McJinx is being celebrated today. It’s International Cat Day. The most important day of the year, after her birthday which is coming up at the end of August. I’m sure there will be a hilarious birthday video to share. In the meantime, all hail the Jinxster.

Jinxy flashback. She was 8 1/2 months old when she was treed back in May 2017, by the neighbors dog. We were expecting a nor’easter that night. We tried our best to get her down to no avail. Then this guy Aaron comes to our door selling bug services. Ends up he was stationed in Fiji while in the Marines and climbed a lot of coconut trees. He scooted up there and got her down. And he was a true hero.

Every year, one of the neighbors puts up doppelgängers of every kid in the neighborhood for Halloween. The kids dress their doppelgänger in their own clothes. Cool tradition. Jinxy McJinx doesn’t wear clothes, but Jinxy McJinx is, of course, one of them. Here she finds her double.

We were out tonight and intended to do Jinxy McJinx’s annual birthday video in a couple of days. On the way home, overwhelming guilt came over us so we decided we had to do it on her birthday. So here we go. Happy birthday to our famous and precious cat, Jinxy McJinx. We love her so much! With Sandy Cokeley and Michael Stewart.

Today is our Jinxy McJinx’s 6th birthday. This is the first video we have of her the day she chose us. That’s Mr. Lobster she’s playing with. We still have that toy, though it’s missing a fin or two. 😂 Her official birthday video will be in a couple of days. Such a sweet and smart girl. Stay tuned!

I go to the Supermarket for some Salmon. The guy asks if I’m the guy with Jinxy McJinx. I tell him yes. Jinxy has friends everywhere. Two shrimp for her as a throw in. No charge. It’s good to be Jinx!
