Edit: before you all come here attacking or judging me you clearly havent followed us or our story..
I started this rescue with my partner. We are no longer together amd i now tale care of everything on my own.
Im doing what i can! I have to move, i have no choice. It is his home not mine. Id love nothing more than to keep everyome amd afford to move but i cant. Yes i have a full time job. A Career and still can not do it alone.
I am a rescue that means none of the animals i have will be sent away for breeding or slaughter and of you dont lile it then dont worry about us over here. We are not affecting your day to day life.

I have been goven an opportunity to move to a home with more land, Barn and a pond.
With the plan to purchase
But in order for me to purchase i need to rebuild my credit, to rebuild my credit i need to pay off debt ive occumulated over the past 3 years. In order to do that i need to cut my expenses or make more money. I have a full time job, i cant take on another.
So i need to downsize our herd and save money on expenses.
The good news is i dont have to rehome everyone and this is just a bump in the road but i do need to downsoze by about 85 pigs.i know this is still alot but its that or rehome everyone. If i cant buy i wont have a home for anyone.
Im willing to make the change and have a much longer drive to work everyday to keep what i can.
Rescues i know we are all over flowing but i need your help before i run out of time

A very long time ago, when the earth was still new and the Father walked among the animals teaching them the wisdom that they would later teach to humans. He gave each animal a gift. He called them all together in the Garden and to some he gave the gift of beauty, to some the gift of swiftness, to some the gift of strength, and so on until each animal had received a gift from the Father. But PIG was not there, PIG was out looking for tasty roots and did not come to the Garden until the Father was giving the last animal its gift.

The PIG cried because the Father had already given out His gifts. The Father saw PIG crying and asked what was wrong. PIG said, “I was late and now you have given away all your gifts. I will have nothing to teach the humans.” The Father gently took the PIG into His lap and rubbed his ample belly, kissed his wet snout, and told him not to cry. He said, “I have saved the best gift for you PIG.” Pig said, “But I am not beautiful, or strong, or swift, I will be despised by humans.”

The Father thought for a moment on how to explain to PIG how great his gift was. Finally, after awhile He said, “PIG, you have all of those gifts and something more within you, but because they are within you it will take a very special person who is seeking greater wisdom to find them.” PIG did not understand, but PIG trusted the Father and went back to digging for roots.

Humans came to the Garden and found all the beautiful animals with their gifts. But humans didn’t care for PIG, he was not beautiful or fleet or strong, and the humans shunned PIG and didn’t want to be around him, preferring the other animals who preened and showed off their gifts. Then after awhile one woman came to PIG and sat down where PIG was eating.

It was the first time that a human had come to be with PIG, and he stopped eating and looked at her curiously. She looked deep into his eyes and saw the gift that the Father had hidden so well. And she loved PIG for who he was and respected PIG for the wonderful gift the Father had given him to share with humans.

I can’t put into words what the gift was that the Father gave to PIG. You have to look into the eyes of PIG and find it for yourself. For each human it will be different. It will be the gift they need to find to help in their search for wisdom. Not many humans will discover the gift PIG has to offer. They will be too dazzled by the gifts the Father gave to the other animals. But for those that do, they are forever changed and never see the world in quite the same way. They are the ones that root like PIG through what is on top to find treasures and gift hidden below the surface.

They are the seekers of truth who understand that the truly great gifts of wisdom are not always on the surface, but are hidden treasures to be found only by seeing with the heart instead of the eyes. ♡

Not me sitting here crying because someone through their employer somehow considered us for a grant and I was worried what I was going to do the next couple months, including our farrier appointment among basic feed costs. I have a lot of pig things to auction too but life has just been tough lately,

I don’t know who considered us but it will allow at least 2-3 months of feed and we can’t be more appreciative.

It means the world to me and the animals we have promised. Sometimes it feels so lonely here like everyone has forgotten the pigs in my care and like I’m fighting a losing battle. But today we feel seen and less alone, every pig here matters.

If you teach your children to raise and love an animal, to then turn around and slaughter it or sell to market to be killed, you are stealing a child’s natural compassion. This is no different than teaching them it would be okay to do this to their dog or cat that they love.

Everyday, I see dozens of pleas for animals needing rescues and sanctuaries because the children have gotten too attached and sanctuaries are over run, with lack of space and lack of funding. How about instead of enrolling your child in 4H, you have them visit and volunteer at rescues and sanctuaries who have been cleaning up these messes for years.

Bubba needs blankets and we need help 😥 any amount helps yall. We need more resources in the wet season. Bubba is the most special needs at the moment, and while our costs for feed, straw, medical for the others continue on—he needs us too.
