Sophie is an 18-20 year old draft cross mare that came into the rescue extremely underweight and sore from pulling carts and equipment in her malnourished state. Approximately 16.3 hands

Sophie is broke to drive and also has a handful of walking rides under saddle. We’ve had her offer nothing bad for us, she just needs more experience. Loads and trailers well. Leads well and ties. Her only fault is that she’s stubborn with picking up her hooves.

She will come with a brand new medium weight winter blanket and a new snaffle bit. If she’s still with us on November 7th, she will have her hooves done.

Bonded pair of 2 year old DNA tested male cockatiels! These two are sweet and hand tame, but can take some coaxing to get them to come out of their cage. Once they are out, they know how to step up. They come with their cage, toys and food.

⭐️ Emma - Adopted! ⭐️

Emma is finally ready for her forever home! 😍 she is two years old and around 30 pounds. This sweet, loving, energetic girl will make someone an amazing companion! She’s house trained, walks well on a leash, and knows how to sit, give paw, and hug! She loves to be with her person as much as possible, and she’s a good snuggle buddy 🙂

She’s is currently in a foster home with another female dog and they do well together! She’s also in a home with cats. While she means them no harm, she does want to chase them and play. The cats that stand up to her, she has no issues with!

Spayed and we have her previous vet records.

PLEASE DO NOT FEED ANIMALS THAT DON’T BELONG TO YOU!

Someone stopped at my house today with two children and an entire bag of apples and two bags of carrots to try to feed to Sophie. I have signs along the fence that say don’t touch the horses, don’t feed them, private property, etc. If I was not home, I have no doubt they would have given all of it to her.

Sophie is recovering from being severely underweight. She has to be given small amounts of feed to get her body used to eating again, and them innocently feeding a horse and ignoring the signs could have caused huge issues for her. As large as horses are, they have very sensitive stomachs. To a horse, a stomach ache can be deadly.

I know horses are awesome! But please respect boundaries set by owners….

This sweet girl is between 1-2 years old, spayed, and has had her first round of shots. She has been well socialized with other cats and while she isn’t a huge fan of dogs, she doesn’t mind being in a house with them as long as they don’t chase her.

She has a name! Everyone, let me introduce our new rescue, Sophie!

Sophie is starting to come around. She’s looking more alert and eating better. I don’t understand how someone could let her get as thin as she was, but she’s currently getting 3 meals of grain a day, supplements, and as much hay as she wants. 💕

Seeing her up close broke my heart. She looks so much worse in person, but now we can start her on the path towards a better future 💕

Miss Stevie is looking for her forever home!

Stevie was found as a pregnant momma roaming around a residential neighborhood. She is shy, but a sweet girl. She does her own thing, but once she trusts you, she will come up and sit/lay with you! She has never offered to bite or do anything impolite. We estimate her to be around 2-3 years old.

She will be spayed and have her shots!

I need your help!

Jaxx had an adopter lined up, we went to meet them, they said they were on their way, and then they never showed….. so he’s looking for his forever home.

Jaxx is a 4.5 year old chihuahua corgi mix that is neutered and loves everyone!! He is the friendliest chihuahua I have ever seen. Great with cats and small animals, crate trained and potty trained with no issues and can go out off of a leash and comes right to you when asked!

Comes with his crate, food, food storage container, toys, collar and leash

We are working to get all of our baskets toget her for the raffle! Cavallo wants to say hello!

Hes doing well! The vet is coming out next week to take care of all of his routine maintenance, and he has a home lined up already!

I can honestly say that I didn’t want another standardbred. Not that I don’t love them, but I wanted something flashy, something that would draw attention. Something that was smooth to ride.

Then this girl came along. She’s not flashy, just another bay mare. She was headed to slaughter and we had the room, so we figured we’d give her a soft landing and set her up for her next home. They quite literally had her on the truck with the kill buyer when we decided to take her, and they had to pull her back off of the truck for us.

Everything that has been thrown at this mare, she has taken exceptional well. She came to us with whip marks, a few small wounds, terrible hooves, thrush, underweight and not once acted anything but perfect. Every time I work with her, her willingness and intelligence blows me away. We looked her up and found out that her dad is the number 2 racer in Canada with over $80 million in winnings! 😳

So with that said, everyone, meet Jinglewriter, AKA Jewels! I don’t know what the future holds for she and I, but I have high hopes for this girl!

Hi all! Just some updates for you!

Some of you probably remember our Callie girl, the husky that was in horrible shape and was thrown from a car. We are happy to announce that she has a clean bill of health and has found an amazing forever family! She gets lots of snuggles and even has a husky sister to play with! She’s has settled in amazingly and we are so happy for her!

We have also taken on a few horse rescues recently, one of which was Jewels, the standardbred mare in the picture below. She’s now up to date on vaccines, Coggins test, has had 2 farrier appointments, and is feeling much better!

Stevie, the stray cat momma, and all of her kittens have either gone to their forever homes or have a home lined up!
