⭕️The Ring Jump⭕️
This is a fun and easy trick that can turn into something really impressive!
(Disclaimer: half my instructive text decided to disappear (love u insta) but here are the basic steps:
🐶Start with the ring on the ground and toss a treat or guide the dog through
🐶be sure to toss far away to make sure the dog isn’t stopping too suddenly and has a good run-up (unlike me in some of this!)
🐶add a voice cue (we chose ‘circus!’)
🐶say the voice cue and wait to toss the treat until after the dog has jumped through!
When doing jumping tricks:
✔️keep sessions short
✔️use a springy/soft and nonslip surface
✔️start small
