Santiago a big, handsome, spectacular moving stallion represents an unequaled pedigree of some of the greatest sporthorses in the world.
His sire is the sensational Dutch warmblood stallion Palousa San Sebastian (now in Great Britain). He is an accomplished elite dressage horse, currently competing Prix St. George, a successful jumper and a brilliant young sire.
He is the son of the celebrated San Remo, by Wolkentanz, by the breed shaping stallion of the twentieth century, Weltmeyer.
San Sebastian's dam is the five times National Champion of the Netherlands, Palousa Caprice. This extraordinary mare is the daughter of the legendary stallion Gribaldi, who also sired the World Champion dressage horse Totilas
Stonewall Santiago's dam is the beautiful Stonewall Minuet, the premier example of a Stonewall Sporthorse mare. Minuet's pedigree is rich with the finest horses ever produced by the Stonewall Stud.

Santiago also descends from the champion sires Stonewall Rebel, Charlie Degas (the fountainhead of the Stonewall Studbook) and our World Champion racehorse and leading sire Apache Double.
Stonewall Minuet is the pinnacle of an extraordinary group of Stonewall Sporthorse mares. Her dam is the prolific Stonewall Fantasia, a daughter of the Stonewall Sporthorse Champion Stonewall Scarlett, a three-quarter sister to the Champions Stonewall Blanche and Stonewall Stella. All these champions are direct tail female descendants of the 1967 National Champion Crystal Curtain through the great producer Stonewall Crystal.

Scarlett is a veteran of the 2001 Horsedrawn Journey Across America from California to Washington DC, a trek she made with her two SSB sisters All of the mares owned by SSB founder Mike Muir and used by Access Adventure all trace back to Stonewall Scarlett.
