Celtic’s Spectacle (“Catman”) (photo attached - green collar) is now available for placement! His adopter has been unable to take him. If you are interested, please advise soon. He was born on 5/23/14 and is 8 years old. He is fully trained, but has a chronic ear infection that we've been unable to fix. Otherwise, he is physically sound and is a strong bird dog. I want to place him in a good home.

Today we are celebrating JuneBugs 16th Birthday!!!
True to the Irish Setters personality, she has not grown up...still a pup getting into trouble.
One of her last episodes was pulling the toilet paper off the roll, into the hallway, across the front door, into & out of the kitchen into the dining area. She stopped & looked at me with the TP hanging off her body.
She never ceases to surprise me with her antics! I love her with all my heart!

Hi Paul,
We try to get Mary to the dog park every day for about an hour. As it is a very large fenced area, she is free to run as much as she wishes. She indicates when she wants to leave. Also, we sign her up for doggie daycare some days. She gets to be with other dogs from about 10 am-4 pm. We are told that she is well behaved, and when she is tired, she goes and sleeps a bit and then comes out to play again.
She is such a wonderful dog. We are quite besotted with her. I cannot thank you enough for taking pity on us, as she has been the key to our getting over the devastating loss of Ballette. We cannot imagine our lives without her. She is a gem.

He'll only eat deer steak, sirloin steak and eggs. Unfortunately, the love of my life is approaching the rainbow bridge...however, he still enjoys Christmas presents!

She found her 1st bird today well! She is so smart and listens very well. All the hunters were impressed by her and how well she did at 5 months.

Unfortunately, we will not have puppies available to donate this year to the Celtic Kids program. If anyone is willing to donate a couple of pups, I will begin the process, with the winner being selected with the input of the donor.

It’s been awhile. Petty is doing very well. His second annual vet checkup went well & now that cooler weather is back, he’s up for 5 mile/day walks. He’s calmed down around most other dogs; fox, rabbits, and ground hogs are a different matter. Here’s a recent picture of him wanting to swim after several dozen Canadian Geese.
He is sleeping more though, often curled up under a bush or next to Suzanne on the couch. He spends the night on his bed in front of our fireplace.
Just wanted to let you know that we are taking good care of him in his retirement.
