Shadow is talkative, affectionate and inquisitive. He will explore your whole house and be a pleasure to live with. He is a cuddly boy and likes to be everywhere you are and wanting to know what you are doing all the time. He would do well as an only cat in your home and likes his one on one time with his humans.

Shadow is a confident boy who came to us from a northern fly-in community of Attawapaskat. He isn't a big fan of wet food and will only be adopted as a totally indoor cat. He will give you many hours of joy and happiness. We have no history of Shadow with dogs.

Shadow has been vet checked, up to date on core FVRCP vaccines and his rabies vaccine. He is neutered and mirco chipped. He has been treated or internal parasites and fleas.

Opal and Koltan, are not siblings but are very active, playful, clean kittens. Like most kittens they require lots of care and commitment in order to develop into beautiful and affectionate adult cats. Koltan is a little bit shy, but is coming out of his shell because of Opal's confidence. Opal is as outgoing as they come. Very affectionate, playful and confident. They are litter box trained and crate trained. They have limited experience with dogs of any size. It is recommended to have a secure area in your home to start off their new life.

Koltan and Opal have been vet checked and are up to date with their core FVRCP vaccines and one year rabies. They have been treated or internal parasites and fleas.

They are not yet spayed or neutered or micro chipped. This is will be done while under contract with the rescue and is booked with the rescue vet when they are 5 months of age, on Nov. 14th, 2023 and it is also included in the adoption fee.

We like to adopt our kittens in pairs if there is no companion cat currently in the home who will accept a the kitten and who is preferably under 3 years old.

Reggie is very quiet and polite. He is very eager to please and is sometimes into long cuddles with his person. Reggie and his sister Ryker were the only two found in a barn that survived of their litter, even mom went missing. He is an absolute sweetie and will be playful and curious. Reggie can keep himself amused with toys and catnip and he loves investigating new things.

Reggie has been vet checked and received core FVRCP vaccines and
his one year Rabies Vaccine each. He has been treated or internal parasites and fleas. Reggie has neutered and micro chipped.

Sydney (Light Orange Male Tabby - Neutered)

Sydney is a curious boy, always in your face for attention. He is an explorer and is very curious and will love to investigate his new surroundings. He can throw a bit of a temper tantrum if he doesn't get his own way, so you can bribe him with wet food or treats. Sydney lived with other cats and will accept another cat in your home if it doesn't intimidate him. Sydney will do the same and be bossy if he feels threatened. You will need to give him time to get to know the current cat in the home and then he can be very playful boy, who can sometimes play rough. Sydney loves the comforts of a soft bed, catnip and will snuggle with you.. You will notice that Sydney has a slight head tilt, that is from a really bad ear infection which ruptured his ear drum and he will always have this head tilt, the ear is fully healed, but the head tilt will remain.
Sydney will be adopted to a totally INDOOR only home.

Sydney has had recent dental surgery requiring some teeth removal to fix his periodontal disease and now he is doing well and fully recovered.

Sydney has been vet checked, neutered, micro chipped and up to date with his core FVRCP vaccines, and his Rabies Vaccine.

"Peppermint Patty" (Brown Tabby – Female - Spayed)

Peppermint Patty is a feisty, spirited girl who will tell you right away if she doesn't likes you or something you are doing. She has a vocal opinion on everything. She can be very sweet, but she doesn't like to be bossed, she will answer back. Patty is very talkative and playful. She has learned to play nice with the other kittens/cats in her foster home. Patty arrived a bit later into rescue and doesn't search out affection but is so happy when she gets it.
Patty will get along with another cat in your home if they learn to give her her space and time so they can get to know each other. Patty does enjoy the company of other cats who are not too pushy. Patty goes crazy for her wet canned food daily treat which she runs to wherever you are to be the first to get it. Patty loves looking out the window to the outdoors and would even love her own catio at her new home. She will be adopted as an “indoor” only cat. Patty has some limited experience with dogs.

Patty is vet checked, spayed and micro chipped, she is up to date with her core FVRCP vaccines, and her 1 Year Rabies Vaccine.

RYKER

DOB September 16th, 2021 -- (DMH Grey & White – Female, Spayed)

Ryker is a very fine, petite girl with lots of attitude and love. She is totally bonded to her person and loves her brother Reggie. Ryker and Reggie are the only two found that survived of their litter, even mom went missing. They bonded strongly living in a big stall in a barn. She is a little particular about her food and you have to be patient with her menu choices. She is a climber and investigator and loves to run and run and chase. She loves quiet time with her person and will entertain herself quite often with any toy or piece of fluff.

Ryker has vet checked and received two core FVRCP vaccines and her 1 year Rabies Vaccine. She is spayed and micro chipped and has been treated or internal parasites and fleas.

Bianca is a Pure White, female Domestic Medium Hair and is still waiting for her perfect retirement home with you!

She is approximately 10 years old. We are not exactly sure as she was rescued from the side of the road. She was adopted to a Senior Women who loved her dearly for 4 ½ years until she passed in February of 2020.

Bianca is spayed, micro chipped, up to date with her core FVRCP Vaccines and Rabies. She has been treated for internal parasites and fleas. She had a complete dental cleaning and polishing in March of 2022

Bianca would like to be adopted to a home where there are no real young children or other cats, she lashes out at other cats because she doesn't enjoy living with them.

She is very touch sensitive around her back end, so needs work to trust that you won't do anything to hurt her. She loves to nudge against you, rub her head on your arm and sleep behind you on the chair or pillow. Bianca can be very affectionate, and likes to sleep near you and watch you. She is talkative and likes to be talked to.

Please ensure your Application is fully completed with as much information as possible, applications where questions answered with an “N/A” or left blank are not accepted. Applications will be reviewed as time permits, we are a volunteer based rescue and have work and family commitments. Once you have filled out an application for a cat/kitten, if it is complete and is suited to the kitten(s)/cat(s) applied for you will be contacted via email ONLY!!.

The most suited adoptable home for the kitten(s)/cat(s) will be determined. It is not determined on a first-come basis, but all applications for the same kitten(s)/cat(s) will be reviewed in order of received, if fully complete. All our kittens/cat will be adopted to totally “indoor” homes only.

Kittens 10 weeks to 7 months of age will NOT be adopted to homes with children under the age of 7 years of age.

Please note: All kittens 7 months of age or younger will be adopted in pairs ONLY OR a single kitten adoption can happen if there is a companion cat in the home who would accept a kitten and who is not over 3 years of age. This is to ensure proper development of the kitten(s) and that they become well adjusted adults. Having companionship and a playmate makes for a happier and healthier kitten. Besides, it’s twice the fun and half the work.

At the time of adoption if the kitten is under 5 months of age it will not be spayed or neutered and micro chipped. At the time of adoption the spay/neuter and microchip implant date is pre booked and the kitten WILL then be returned to Pawzietively Precious AER for its spay/neuter and microchip implant surgery on this pre booked agreed to date. This spay/neuter and micro chip cost is included in the adoption fee.

The Staff at our Pet Valu Adoption Centres do not complete nor finalize any adoptions. It is solely the responsibility of Pawzietively Precious AER.

Important Information you need to know at the time of Adoption!
You are aware the kitten/cat you are adopting has come from a barn/colony or the streets, not from a breeding program. Pawzietively Precious AER does not breed cats/kittens we rescue them from the barns/colony’s or streets and support TNR.

You are aware the kitten you are adopting has NOT been tested for FIV and Feluk, unless shown on the Bio Cage Sheet.

The kitten has been dewormed with Revolution and Milbemax/Strongit.

The parents are unknown to Pawzietively Precious, in some cases, the mother possibly might be known, but she has not been tested for FIV or Feluk as she is feral (wild) and will be TNR’d (Trapped Neutered/Spayed and Returned to the barn or colony where the kittens have come from.)

Dove is very sweet and polite. She is quiet and respectful of other kittens/cats in the foster home. She asks ever so sweetly for her treat and waits patiently. Dove would do well in a “quiet” home with older children, very respectful older dogs, and possibly another cat for companionship, that wouldn't be dominant towards her. She doesn't like conflict and doesn't create it.
No tortitude here.

Dove has been vet checked, spayed, micro chipped, she has two core FVRCP vaccines, and her Rabies Vaccine.

Cheetah is a charmer, very affectionate and loves to hear his voice, get belly rubs and be the center of attention, yes he is affectionate but doesn’t always seek out petting. He can sometimes feel threatened by other cats and will not hesitate to defend himself by swatting out …. not always ….. just every now and then, so maybe he would do best in a home that will give him all the space he deserves and with another cat that will respect his space and just enjoy knowing that Cheetah also lives there. Cheetah is fine with dogs if they are respectful of him.
He has had a dental and had some bad/broken teeth removed, one being his upper canine on the right. That doesn't stop affect his eating kibble at all.
He is FIV/FeLUK Negative and all his latest blood work looks fantastic.

Oscar was born April 22nd, 2021. He is a Brown Marble Tabby, Domestic Short Hair, Male.

His Adoption Fee is $200.00 and that includes his neuter and Microchip done. He has two sets of FVRCP Vaccinations, 1 Yr. Rabies, Deworming and Revolution Treatments.

Oscar is a bright and adventurous boy. Oscar came to our rescue through a shelter transfer last fall and was shy as he was almost 11 weeks of age when brought off the streets. He loves to be patted once he feel safe with you and will gladly hop up into his cage to get his wet food treat. He is good with other cats and will be adopted into a home where there is another companion cat, (not geriatric) who will accept him and that will help him continue to grow and become a confident cat. We know he will be a bit shy in a new home environment until he gets use to it. He will be adopted as a totally indoor cat only. He loves to explore new things and the comforts of a warm spot in your house to curl up and sleep. He has found the comforts of bird watching and observing all things happening in your home.

Penny came into rescue when she was found in a backyard in Hamilton. The kind homeowner took her into her home when she realized this beautiful girl was pregnant and friendly. She knew that Penny needed a safe place to have her kittens. Once Penny had her kittens, the homeowner surrendered Penny and her kittens to our rescue to help her find her forever home. Penny can take a bit to warm up to you and doesn't like a busy household, dogs or other cats. She doesn't mind being picked up or to be patted if you are gentle. She loves her wet food treat and will often talk to you.

She will be adopted as a totally indoor cat only. She is curious to explore new things and the comforts of a warm spot in your house to curl up and sleep and be loved.

She will only be adopted to a home where there are no children under 7 years old. Another cat in the home is a possibility if the other cat gives her her space to be herself. She will lash out at another cat because she has never lived with other cats until she came into Pawzietively Precious back in late December 2020.

This is what happens when you put out a feather wand toy on Sunday mornings. With all these kittens by 1 pm no feathers left. Merlot is the anchor that holds down the wand from going everywhere...love Merlot.

It has been a long spring but our kittens are growing up. As we prepare to start posting kittens available for adoption over the next week I’d like to make a few things clear...

I don’t do rescue for you.
I don’t do it for me.
I do it for the animals that need rescuing.

I don’t work 24/7, break my heart on a regular basis, always try to find room for one more or spend all of our money on cats that are not our own, for you. Nor do I do it for me. I do it for them. The cats and kittens dumped, abandoned, not fixed, left to fend for themselves for generations. Our goal here is not to find YOU a kitten. It’s to find these kittens and cats the right forever home and it’s a responsibility we take very seriously. They are our priority. You aren’t “buying a cat”, This is not a store. You are adopting a living being - a forever family member.Rescue is not a “fun” thing to do. We trap, we socialize, we do adoptions. It’s a lot. Sure kittens are cute and adorable but if I had my wish, there would not be any more cats or kittens left to save. People would be responsible pet owners and rescuers like myself could go back to living our lives. Trust me, I’d really like a break. But I know that won’t happen in my lifetime, if ever.So here we are.It’s adoption time.
A few things to remember....

We have an adoption process. No one is entitled to a kitten.🐱
Please note that a foster will be given priority if they have an interest in a kitten they are fostering. They have put in the time and effort, have often developed a bond and deserve that respect.

Priority will be given to potential adopters wanting to adopt a bonded pair.

Yes, we ask for an adoption fee. This is not a business for us. Our adoption fee does not usually cover the cost of feeding and vetting a kitten for the months they are with us. I work my job to pay for food and vetting. Many of our fosters kindly provide their own food but we provide food daily for more than 40 cats, some long timers, and all of the vetting. Sometimes cats we receive are TNR’d because they are feral. We do not receive an adoption fee for these cats which we have vetted, but this work is important so we do it.

If you are messaging to ask for a “free” or “reduced fee” kitten, please know you won’t be getting a kitten from us. Not because we need your money but because pets cost money and if you aren’t willing or able to pay up front for a vetted kitty, then we have concerns.

If you want a kitten for a barn, we are not the rescue for you..🐱
If you want your cat to be indoor/outdoor, please look elsewhere.

Yes you must complete an application and be approved. Completing an application does not guarantee a kitten. We often receive multiple applications for the same kitten. If your application is approved and you are the successful applicant for a particular kitten, you will be contacted.

If you are rude in your messaging, do not expect a response. We are busy and have no time for that. You can also expect to be blocked from the page. I have zero tolerance right now.
🐱Yes there may be a delay in responding to your message. We are a small rescue, have families, other obligations and many cats in our care. We already do this 24/7 and to find time to also reply to dozens and dozens of messages, calls, texts and emails daily is often challenging. If your message gets missed and you’d really like to speak to us, please feel free to send us a reminder message!

Also please note we do not have a physical shelter. We are a foster based rescue. Our cats are in homes. At this time there is very little opportunity to visit kittens or cats due to COVID and infection control guidelines.If you think you can do this better, please do! We are all happy to step back and take a break. In the end I have to make the hard decisions that I think are in the best interest of each animal and I’m sorry if some of you end up disappointed. I do this for them, not you.I appreciate those of you with patience, understanding and compassion for what we see and do every single day. The stress, the emotions, the fatigue. When I do finally stop rescuing, I can assure you it won’t be because of the animals.
