A big shout out to the Fire Brigade, the team from Bodmin!! Christmas Eve lunchtime this lovely older lady, who is new to me, rolled down a 20 foot embankment on the trail at the back of Trelawney Garden Centre, luckily her drop was broken a couple of times by brambles and young saplings but there was no way I could get her back up....the ground was very boggy & as her mobility (& I realise now her sight is not very good, the elderly owner had not realised quite how much it's deteriorated & hadn't alerted me). I felt silly as it wasn't an "emergency" but although I got down to her there was no way to carry her up.
The guys from the Fire brigade were absolutely fab, reassured me I'd absolutely done the right thing & within 10 minutes of them arriving we were both back up on the path! Luckily the little lady was unharmed & enjoyed all the fuss & attention she received.
So if in doubt call them!

Thought Kya was a bit difficult on the lead at times but had to laugh watching 2 guys struggling to walk this young cow ...

You share everything with your dog.......when you pick up what you think is a bit of crisp that you've dropped but......the dog had a chew earlier &.......it really doesn't taste like a crisp 😂

Accidentally came across this one yesterday...it must have been hiding in the rocks as we walked towards the sea but as we walked back up the beach there it was trying to get back to the water...I happened to have my Nikon with me so we weren't close & the tide was coming in fast so hope it got away as some humans were not as aware of keeping their distance & were much too close 😡

I hope your journey over the the 🌈 bridge has been an easy one...I will miss you so much, you have become a much loved part of the 4 Paws extended family, I'm so sad because you were far too young & should have been with us for a few more years. Always dancing at the door when you heard my van before you saw my face, always so happy, you always made me smile but on Monday when you went to your bed straight after your walk....I knew you were very poorly 😭 You will be missed ###

Saw this lovely little slow worm today, the smallest one I've ever seen, had to make sure none of the dogs stood on it 😂
