So just an update, Basil is doing well with one baby. The fun of breeding, it’s definitely not always happiness. I was at the ER with her most of last night and they were finally able to get out her last (deceased) baby. I’ll be spaying her when her kitten goes in for ESN. Sometimes things are just beyond our control. She’s a great mom, even trying to revive one of Sparkle’s. I’m all about transparency and wanted to keep you updated. Thanks for all of the prayers and good thoughts! I’m so glad she’s ok now!!

It’s been a long week and it’s not over yet for us! Calla is doing well with hers now but still tiny so we will see. She doesn’t like me changing anything so this is a bit difficult. Sparkle is doing a great job and Basil is having the longest labor ever but not in distress, thank goodness! Up all night and still just two babies….I don’t think the first one will make it but we are trying over here! Here are some baby pictures!

Sparkles has welcomed four new solids/minks making this Sesame’s last litter. All mitted and any females will be on breeder hold for a while. I have not checked genders, mom is doing a great job! Now I’m with Basil who is also about to have hers.

If you’re interested in getting professional pictures done of your kittens from Melissa at Bluebug Photography (she does all of our photography), please let me know as we are planning for next week. I bathe them before going so I need to know in advance please. Their surgeries are scheduled for May 13. Thanks!! (Some of you have told me already, I’ll send her info to you as well)

Very true! I know we often feel as if we are a vending machine trying to pop out exactly what someone wants on the spot but it definitely takes time and patience ❤️

Several have asked who Jason is, he’s up in Philadelphia and from Poland. Cloud 9 is no longer breeding but she still has him so I’m sending a girl up there to keep him company back and forth. He’s a gorgeous blue mitted boy! I’ll get him down here for pictures from Bluebug Photography soon too!
