Our professional Behaviour Consultant & Canine Trainer, Christina C., has 18 years of experience working with over 8500 dogs in various capacities including instructing group classes, training military and police K9s, personally competing in dog sports, and assisting all shapes and sizes of clients with pretty much every training or behaviour issue you can think of!
Christina has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan, professional canine training and behavioural consulting certifications through the International Association of Canine Professionals, is a consultant for university research teams focusing on canine behaviour and the Human-Animal Bond, and holds a certificate in Working K9 First Aid. Her approach to training is focused on the improvement of her clients' relationships with their dogs, their combined quality of life, and the development of a better understanding of the ways in which we can positively interpret and affect canine behaviour.
She is comfortable and familiar with all types and breeds of dogs, and has personal soft spots for toy breeds such as Chihuahuas as well as powerful breeds such as Cane Corsos and Dobermanns. Her training and behavioural modification approaches are method inclusive, focusing on each client's success and improvement over any specific system, tool, or program.
