Hi friends!

It’s been a while. I locked up a seasonal job Guiding in the Apostle Islands for the summer. Ended up blowing my engine.

As Hunting goes:

I am teaching tanning basics for Whitetail.

Tannery still needs a few new updates as the tumbler is for Taxidermy tanning only.

Guess who will eventually be a Taxidermist? This gal.

Still offering Mittens and Hats to be custom created with your furs.

Does anyone know if a Taxidermist looking for an Auto-Tanner? Brand new, used once.

I need a Hide Tumbler for garment quality furs and this particular machine only tans for mounts - which was not clarified upon purchase.

It can do up to 18 deer capes at once.

It was a communication error on the sellers end and they do not do returns as each machine is built to order.

I need to apologize. When I started this endeavor I did not realize how much water I would need.

I live 100% off-grid without a well. I carry in my own water. Each tumble takes roughly 18 gallons of water and I cannot keep up with the spring being 10 miles (30 minutes) away.

Please bare with me. I’m not giving up. Just placing a hold.

Again, I am so sorry. Live and learn.

Production Day. Still need to find a place to store the beaver hoops. Either way, it’s time to roll.

The best thing about this tumbler is that it is on wheels and I can roll it back indoors after each tumble.

I want to thank you all for your patience! I have officially received all of the proper paperwork from the State of Maine IF&W and am legally allowed to start the Tannery!

I’m hoping to just focus on BEAVER at the moment (as I have a dozen Beaver Stretchers) - for all of your garment needs!

Bedrooms are overrated (temporarily).. I may or may not have dropped a few pieces of hardware through the porch & I may or may not have a generator slightly frozen to the ground…

Good evening, friends! I am pleased to announce that my small-business should be up and running within the next week or so. The very first hide to enter the tumbler will be one of my very own white tail deers so please stay tuned for the final results.

I am slowly starting to acquire all of the necessary hide/pelt stretchers. I will also be constructing for-use fleshing beams (with a tutorial if need be).

If anyone would care to share, it would be greatly appreciated. Maine needs a Tannery and I am happy to provide one here on my off-grid homestead!
