Yes we are still open! Our main season ended about a month ago with the first frost. Believe it or not there is still plenty of food growing. This week we have the last of the peppers for the year, super sweet carrots, arugula, spicy salad mix, ruby red salad mix, mesclun salad mix, cherry radish, beets, dried herbs, and crushed red peppers. We will also be introducing a ton of new microgreens for the winter.

As always, everything is locally grown on our farm without chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, non GMO seeds.

This was a cover crop I used to break up the hard clay soil. It grew down about 16 inches 🫨

Winter is coming! 🍃🍂🍁 we are going to see how much food we can grow this winter. Got rid of the roll up sides, added some baseboards and double walled polycarbonate for the ends. Looking for some ideas to insulate the north side 🙌

Insects love arugula just as much as we do. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to destroy a row of greens or arugula bc of the damage from insects. As organic growers, we keep our farm 100% chemical free. Instead of spraying the soil and crops with poison we built these inexpensive tunnels. I don’t know if they’ll work but it’s better than the alternative 🌱🌱
