Foster Alert:
Looking for a foster home for young, super friendly Allie.

She is good with other cats, not sure about dogs.
Fully vetted.
She has THREE legs. She was brought in by a Good Samaritan and ended up getting excellent vet care (saving her life) at Highway Animal Hospital. But because the injury was so severe to her rear leg it had to be amputated. She doesn't seem to mind and hops around just fine. ❤️

Update on George:
He got an MRI and spinal tap, but unfortunately the vets were unable to find answers. He has 5 seizures last month and 2 in a day in December. He continues to take a higher dose of meds in hopes he stabilizes. The change in schedules in the holidays has also caused anxiety for George. We wished we had more positive news. We continue to be grateful to George's amazing foster mama. We also give a big THANK YOU to everyone who donated to his GoFundMe. It is still open and accepting donations towards his care. If by chance we are able to raise more than is needed for George, any additional funds will go to the Tails general fund.

As we reflect on the tough year that was 2024, there are so many notes of appreciation to those in our community.

In 2024 we had over 100 active foster homes helping to care for our foster cats. While this sounds like a lot, we can always use more! Some foster homes take in only 1 cat, and others get hooked and are a revolving door new kittens, with our most active homes having 20+ cats through the year! If you are interested in fostering in 2025, no matter the amount of time or number of cats you could take in, every day is meaningful.
