My 1st ever baby with entropian. This is not something you WAIT to take action on or they can be blind or lose the eye. Eye meds started immediately then a visit with the vet for 3 staples in her top eyelid & a stronger eye med. This morning (at 2 weeks old) it’s looking much better & she can see as my finger approaches with the meds.

FYI. I see repeated post from “new to goats” people about 1st moms for them. Moms need extra calcium prior to kidding & after. It helps with labor & milk production. After birth can take a while to come out & a bloody behind for a few days or more can be normal.
THINGS TO LOOK for
Mom won’t eat give b complex injection
Mom is off or lazy. CHECK HER TEMPERATURE rectally if it’s high get a fever reducer in her.
IF THERE IS A FOUL SMELL it can be an infection.
Most moms are fine & Mother Nature takes over but occasionally things go wrong especially if mom is not getting proper nutrition.
If you have questions message me. My 1st question will be what’s their temp?
