I have heard it over and over again that I can do better and she won’t ever be like the 1D horses. People don’t realize that a little over a year ago Trigger and I were running 30 second pole patterns and 25 second barrel patterns. We have put our hearts into this sport and trust each other. She is now running 26 second pole patterns and 19 second barrel patterns which is more than what I have ever wanted out of her. We may not be the next nbha champion, but there isn’t a lot of people out there that can say that they have trained their own horse, out of the wild, and have as big of a connection as we do. This is only our 2nd competitive show off property and she is placing in top 5 in almost all the classes. She isn’t the biggest or fastest, but I know that I can trust her with my life. We put our hearts out for each other and that’s all that matters. I’m sorry if you believe that you have the right to tell me that she isn’t gonna be fast enough to hit 1D pattern times, but let me just remind you that she is only 4 and we have a whole life ahead of us with a pretty awesome trainer/mom to back us up and help us get better. I love this girl to death and wouldn’t ask for any other horse ❤️

That's a wrap! Only for Diamond Appaloosa Ranch Show Series for this year though. I am proud to say that all my horses have improved tremendously this year and will continue to improve. I am so grateful for everyone's support and that you Pretty Polos by Jessie & Lopin’ With Grace Tack & Design Co. Zeus's sponsorship, the boots protected not only Zeus, but also Rohan legs while running for gymkhana and also warm ups. Thank you Circle H Custom Leather for the custom tack set for Zeus, it looks amazing on him when he wears western! Thank you Tractor Supply for the detangler, hay, and bedding for all the horses it allowed them to be comfortable while waiting their turn to turn and burn while also allowing them to have a full stomach. Thank you MVP for the supplements, their health is the most important to us and they are all very grateful to know that their joints are being taken care of while allowing them to have fun. Thank you Diamond Appaloosa Ranch LLC for supporting me through everything and being able to have me show their another year. Thank you Dun Did It and Appa Images for the Amar photos of my horses this year y'all both did an amazing job.
Overall it has been a bit chaotic with personal matters and rodeos that I unfortunately wasn't able to hit up as many ones I wanted to this year, but starting in January I will be looking into not only bringing Rohan to major events, but also Trigger. As for everything with DAR I am happy to say that Rohan has set 3 new arena records and will hope to set some with trigger next year. After the holiday I will make sure to get the numbers from our first show and our last to update everyone on their progress. Happy holidays!

These past weeks have been very busy, but to say the least I got grand Champion in all gymkhanas and also I got reserved with trigger at H&H Equestrian! I am very grateful of Trigger and Rohan they both have been working their tails off. I have decided that Trigger will not be running on Sunday. Instead we will work a bit more on going on trail rides and also round pen work this entire week with her. I am still running at Diamond Appaloosa Ranch though, but you will only see Rohan and Zeus this weekend!

Unfortunately I will not be going to either shows this weekend due to it being over 100° on Saturday and Sunday the show was cancelled. We will be looking to going into other shows very soon!

Many of you may know Miley at this point. She is the most willing and loving pony you will ever meet! She is THE horse that has taught me everything, from barrel racing to trick riding. She is currently going in for surgery, but we cannot afford the bill, so please share or donate whatever works best for you to help this girl have the best recovery so she can do what she loves. Thank you to everyone who came out to watch this weekend. Even though we didn't hit our goals in the arena this weekend we still had fun! I am extremely proud of Zeus for being as calm as he was. Even though he needs to get more time to build up more momentum in the field and also finding his pocket fully I am extremely proud that he was consistent with 22 seconds everyday. Rohan also did extremely well, I didn't want to push him due to the air and it was my first ever show off property with him so I was just mainly figuring him out. He was very good other than the fact the our one mare that came along with us was in heat the entire time so he was more focused on her than his job. He also is probably gonna need time to build up his momentum again out in the field. He also was very consistent staying with the low 20s all weekend. Thank you to my sponsors throughout this show, y'all helped out a lot and would highly recommend all their products.
