Pistol has found that he is in need of a new home after his caretaker died. His current caretakers are teenagers and it is something they cannot handle and they themselves survive.

Pistol is a sheltie that has past show experience. He was loved and care for as he deserved

Now he need someone to take over his care and love him the best

Pistol is 7 yo, appox 20-25 lbs. He needs a home that knows he will need to have regular grooming to be his handsome self. Add love and this would be his perfect home

To my human moms & dads, this is what happens to my paws when you take me out in the scorching sun ☀️ when the pavement is so hot !

Remember I sweat through my paws, so in this heat I can’t get rid of my sweat as my paws are burning. Missing my walk won’t harm me. Please let me just relax indoors and take me out when the sun is down🐾

If you see someone walking their dog on hot pavement, ask them to take off their shoes for the remainder of their walk home. Maybe then they'll understand.

Lobito’s fear is overwhelming, with his fate hanging by a thread. He has only until tomorrow before it’s too late.

I’m scared and alone 😭. Without rescue, I will be euthanized tomorrow.

🌟 UPDATE 11/23: 3yr old Giselle (aka Mona) wants so desperately to be loved. She is so confused after leaving the shelter only to be dumped again. Returned animals shoot to the VERY TOP of the euthanasia list. New video in comments. She is OUT OF TIME.

🌟 UPDATE 11/20: Giselle was Rescued or Adopted & then returned. Her life is now more in danger than ever!

In the box meant to contain behavior and or medical notes, there are none. She is destined to become a statistic for no other reason than not having a family to love her. These beauties are looking for rescue. They are in the Marshall MO shelter. Did not live in good conditions. Only about 1 1/2 years old and already had a litter. Very sweet. Need fosters!!!

Tony looks so good. I think he is finally at a decent weight. We really really need to find this awesome boy a home. He is big and strong. I sat on the ground and he was a little pushy with the treats - all up in my lap. He needs someone to continue to give him boundaries. Great dog. Someone come meet him!
